Andrea, I see someone with an androgynous presentation leaning toward female.  I definitely DO NOT see a guy.  Nor so I see one in your current avatar.  The thinned eyebrows, earrings, and eyes scream female.  The beanie with that, and the lack of makeup says to me, maybe butch lesbian.

You say you are full time, so some minimal makeup could not hurt.

One thing face-on pictures lack is any perspective of "tells," such as brow bossing or nose shape.  So if the question is "Could you pass one day?" the answer is, you already pass on several levels.

Hey guys just wondering is my profile masculine or feminine? I took out my brown bossing and huge ass eyebrows to see what it would look like and I'm not sure :-)
Thanks everyone!

My nose and profile is a dead give away i think. All I see, makeup or no makeup is a man in the mirror...
I'm nearly two weeks on HRT. What do you think about my future?

I don't think your nose gives you away at all. IMHO your glasses don't suit you but if you blow dry a little volume into your hair to bring it away from your face at each side you will see a big difference. You have a beatiful feature ahead! x

Could this ugly mug be passable one day?

Don't be so defeatist. No ugly mug there and nothing masculine that I can see. x

@Bex80, @Sammy, @Jamie D

Thank y'all so much for y'all's feedback!

Well, the thing is: I am full time, I never get looks in the ladies' rooms, people call me ma'am at the store, and stuff, but, I posted a picture here, a "butch" picture, so to speak, because I personally believe, and this *solely* my opinion, that is important for me to pass without trying, to pass without being dolled up. My goal is to pass *for sure*, one day, as I open my eyes in the morning, with no make on, dressed like a guy and maybe even with a shaven head or a beanie on (I am aware the beanie is not flattering nor is it feminine). In other words, I think one totally passes when one is trying to pass as his or her birth assigned gender and cannot be convincing! :-) That is what I am striving for. That is why I post this type of pictures. Make sense? Please, tell me if I am crazy!!! LOL

About the nose profile and brow ridge: there are a couple of things that I was lucky with. My nose profile and my brow ridge: mine are naturally smooth, soft and very feminine. That is why I did not post a profile picture: I do not have problems, there, thanks Heavens!!! :-)

The second thing is my voice: I was born with a gender neutral voice and lately, after I have allowed my inside to come to the surface, I have not had a single occurrence where somebody has not called me ma'am on the phone, although my name is gender neutral, i.e. it could be more or female, actually when I say Andi, it sounds more male than female, if anything (since most spell it "Andy". Make sense?

Thanks again and please, feel free to add more brutally honest comments! :-)

OK.  I've been posting on here for a while (though not so much last month or so).  I guess it's finally my turn.

First picture is from a job interview - right before I was heading out the door.  Presenting as male obviously.

Second picture is from tonight - first time dressing in public as female with full skirt and makeup on.  It was my first attempt at makeup and I was rushed because I was late for a trans support meeting (which didn't happen - my calendar screw-up).  Also no earrings or jewelry on - also because I was rushed.

So.. I know I still have many masculine features - but I just started on hormones and I'm taking steps.  Could I, someday, pass?

*Pics removed for privacy.

Hello Alexis, you look very pretty and feminine. I am sure that nobody can tell that you are a transgender girl. I wish I would have started estrogen and blocker at early age.  At what age did you go full time? The advantage is that you do not have any problem for shopping, for me I am always nervous to go shopping.  Do you try clothes in the shops?

my best advice sage fox would be to tuck the shirt.

other than that though only time will tell on hormones, but in all likelihood you should be fine.

You will! Just get rid of that 5 o'clock shadow and work on your eyebrows! Easy enough to do. Improve on your hair style! And SMILE!! :-)

Don't listen to those who are hypercritical: they are trying to help you, no doubt about that, but they may be perfectionists and there is no need for that in real life: life is good sometimes just because it is imperfect! :-)

Good luck, and contact me for help, if you would like. I stated out a super manly man six moths ago. Now people just call me ma'am every place I go. :-)

Take care,
Andrea

You said in another post you were MtF.

Though you modified the image, I'd say you have quite a few good things going for you in terms a cranial/facial features.

- "Female" nose
- Little or no brow bossing
- Totally cute eyes and lashes

Your best bet is to work with a therapist about the gender issues, and perhaps start some sort of T-blocker, to help preserve your feminine features.

Sorry for the delayed response.  I am out of town at a training class.

It is difficult to answer those questions on the basis of one profile picture (I am not even considering the second, highly modified image - with good enough PhotoShop skills, I could make myself look like Brittany Spears).

If you fell like it, post a suite of images, like you would take for virtual FFS.  One face on, one 3/4th view, and one profile, showing your hear from the shoulders up (to image your neck and throat).  You can even do one additional with makeup, if you wish.  You will probably get more feed back
