QuoteI hear a lot of BS about breast size, mine are big A small B and the genetic females in my family are all super endowed, so all that stuff about genetics is moot

While that may be true in your case, to say genetics doesn't play a role is stretching it....if genetics didn't have an effect, we'd be able to find MtF's whose cis-F-relatives were small chested, while the TS had DD cups...I've never heard of that, though.

I think it would make an interesting study...ask MtF's to monitor their breast size, before during and after for say, 5 years, and reference "nearest cis-female relative's breast size"...note their age, any additional BA efforts (herbs, foods, massage, silicon, etc).

If we got perhaps 100 involved, maybe we'd have a good sample size...at least an "A" cup in terms of numers of subjects LOL...
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Well, the catch is that genetics are sneaky. :) Sometimes the genes one has are not what's being expressed by one's closest female relatives - for example, my mother is a 34B (but she stays very skinny) and my sister is 36D, but I'm guessing I got my breast genes from my father's side of the family, where his sisters are all DD and up. 3 years in and I'm 38D-42DDD depending on the bra. (Yeah, I think some bra manufacturers are nuts, frankly. That's a heck of a range.)  I haven't done anything but take estrogen, and not be skinny, heh.

I also know cis women whose sisters and mothers are small, and they ended up huge, or vice versa...

A lot of the sizing does seem to depend on the bra maker  :)  I tend to be a 38C- D now but still remember being excited to fill up a 36B just a few years ago

another factor to consider besides genetics is nutrtition for growth and hormones in foods.

I've heard a lot about feminization and hormones in foods but if it were happening on a large scale wouldn't there be a lot more guys/men with gynecomastia? I'm not discounting it but I wonder sometimes how much effect it has on someone who is not already pre-dispositioned for breast growth. I just don't know but it does seem to be alot of evidence in it causing precocious puberty in young girls.

all you have to look at is the obesity rate in America. I won't go as far as to say the two are directly related as hard evidence is tough to pin down, but the introduction of excessive female hormones for fattening livestock should carry over fairly easily if one is tracing effects.

that and average breast size has gone up in the past century. (not the best article scientifically but relevant) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1350919/Why-ARE-womens-breasts-getting-bigger-The-answers-disturb-.html

Oh I agree that hormones in food def have some effect on people. I don't think though it has been happening long enough to say exactly what and how much and on whom, scientifically speaking that is. There's def causation. That was an interesting article. That woman was huge, an L cup!

Obesity in the US is caused primarily by two things:

Our love lust for "fast food" (high calories, heavy on the fat and sugars), and the fact that collectively we sit on our rear ends for most of the day. Television, Internet, video games, spectator sports...all these take up time, during which we are simply not moving at any speed.

If there is an effect on obesity from growth hormones, we would not see it until we reduce the "super size" American diet and get people to walk to/from work. (Nevermind the fairly large number of people who are on welfare, and who buy junk food in the stores with their food stamps... >:( )

imho

I understand that there are some, possibly many that fit this description, I am not one of them and do not support or appreciate such generalizations

I don't sit on my behind all day, I don't play video games or watch much TV, nor do I frequent fast food establishments, I ride my bicycle to the grocery store and make my meals from fresh ingredients
