Seems like Most trans M2f Turn out to be Lesbians, because (as i have been told and I kinda get it) "Wemon are more understanding"
Sometimes I feal like the only heterosexual transgender. Which is like whatever... but anyhow.. Is That also Common for F2M trans?
Am I the only one who has noticed that?

Also I dont mind Whether my partner would be A Trans F2M or a born male. Are most Trans understanding like that or just cause I have a Wide understanding mind... Would F2M guys ever get with a M2F Trans?

There was actually a story my friend told me:
This drag queen I knew, She was a trans but pre op and her an a F2M  pre op got together and Had a baby. After the baby is born both will Change roles. I think that's Amazing. I wish I had that. I wish I could have children.. as a girl would, but to have a relationship like that... that would be so amazing.

It does seem like a lot of MTFs become lesbians after transition but I don't think it's unusual since sexuality and gender are two different things. I, myself, am Bi and have been with both men and women but now that I'm on HRT I must say that the pendulum is swinging more towards men then women. I don't know why. Maybe because I'm being more open in general or maybe because I'm more comfortable with myself. I think in the end, it'll be pot luck whether I end up with a man or woman as I could still be happy with a woman. In all likelihood though it'll prob be a man as men are more aggressive and I've always preferred to be pursued rather than pursue.

I'm a biological woman, but I want to transition eventually. I can say as I am now I date women. So whenever I transition I'll be a straight male technically. Would I date a MTF? Who knows, depends on if I enjoy them as a person. Really it all comes down to if we click in such a way that a relationship blossoms. I can say that for now though as long as they are full body female I wouldn't care what they were born as originally.

Sure is confusing at the terminology level.

So you want to be female right? Yes.

Does that mean you want to be female so you can have a man? Nope.

So you are not gay? Nope.

But I suppose you are homosexual as you like females? Hmm I suppose so.

But you currently have male parts? Yes.

So I suppose only a really understanding and informed person is going to think of me as a lesbian, because most would predictably just think 'well of course you like females, as you are a male'. Err no, I'm not a male. Not my fault I have the parts. Now if you had some cash to spare, I could sort that out.

I can't really describe why I like females. I can sure describe why I don't like males though. If I had he right parts, there wouldn't be any curiosity happening here.

 You know, it seems that being mostly bisexual/questioning actually sorts out more questions than it creates, in trans folk.

No you aren't the only straight mtf,lol.  I personally find both genders attractive on a physical level, but I only have feelings for men romantically.  I really could not see myself dating or being in a relationship with a woman.  So, I consider myself straight for this reason, but some would argue against that.  However, I do notice there is a higher trend of lesbianism in the transgender community.  I suspect hormones and social conditioning may play an important role in this, but it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. 

I can say I would date a ftm without any issue, but I don't know how they feel in general dating a mtf.  It's all very confusing!!

I think it's just a correlation due to trans people generally being more open minded.

I'm physically female and will probably remain that way with minor adjustments to look more androgynous.  My gender identity is fluid and my romantic identification is tied in heavily with my gender identity.  When I'm feeling more male, I'm almost exclusively attracted to males [slightly feminine looking ones] and when I'm feeling more female I'm almost exclusively attracted to females [slightly more masculine looking ones].  That being said, either way I don't particularly care what is or isn't between a person's legs (I'm asexual and have no urge to have sex with anyone ever again) and I would date just about anyone I clicked with.

It was this very conundrum that really kept me from accepting myself as transexual. For the longest time I thought that, since I'm primarily attracted to women (even though I consider myself bi) I should be comfortable as a man because I have all the correct parts, so it shouldn't matter.

But it matters. It matters a LOT, and I've finally accepted that.

These threads are always interesting to read. It's nice to see a variety of viewpoints.

I identify as a biromantic asexual and always have. I might consider a relationship after I've been on T for a while, if it turns out it was a self-image problem preventing me from wanting to be in a relationship. I've never actually wanted a partner, though, so I'm not sure what'll happen in the future. My therapist has a good time with this. 

Sexuality and gender orientation seem to be quite separate.

I'm only sexually attracted to guys, but most of my friends are female. I have no sexual interest in my female friends beyond gossip (Hee Hee).

I'm not sexually attracted to Gay guys although I have a few as very close friends, they are also not sexually interested in me.

So I'm a straight female by the standard definitions.

But labels are just that; forget them and be friends with people and enjoy the people you are friends with.
