I had my period from April 6-11, and wasn't supposed to get it again until May 9th, but then on Saturday the 27th I started bleeding again. Not much, just a little and I didn't think much about it since people say "spotting" is normal though I've never had it before. I am now on my 5th day and it's gotten much heavier, almost like a light period instead (I use the SheCup, and I have like 8 ml of blood every 4-5 hours now where before it was like 2-3 ml every 6 hours).
How long is this supposed to last? And, is it normal to get heavier? Anyone have any experience with this? I tried doing a Google search, but I just keep coming up with a lot of pregnancy stuff (I am def not pregnant lol). Most of the pregnancy spotting stuff describes the blood as being brownish, where mines a normal red color.
Also, on the 8th when I did have my period, I got this sudden random pain where I think an ovary is. The pain was so bad that my vision blurred and I got dizzy. I was waiting for the T to come and had to sit down on the platform to avoid passing out and then vomited in a public restroom. I never felt pain so horrible before. I went to the doctor that same day, and of course, it stops hurting as I am in the waiting room. Basically the doctor felt my stomach, then said that it was probably nothing, I am fine, and to go home. Not sure if it's just a coincidence that I had this horrible pain and then within the same month I start randomly bleeding again, though I don't really want to go back to the doctor and have her just say I am a hypochondriac.
