Amygdala1

Hi,

So, I have been on T for  1.5years. My last shot bled really badly and ever since I have been very hormonal, tired, sick on the stomach, I have cramps and I just got a (extremely) painful start to a period. I havent had a period in over year and 5months.

Has anyone else ever experienced this, it feels like my shot didnt work, could injecting in the wrong place cause this effect so rapidly? And is it safe for me to retake my shot? (its Sustanon, I take it every three weeks and it has only been one week since my last shot)

Thanks

Hmmm, I've never heard of something like this happening before, but thinking through it, I really don't find it possible...

Firstly; I've bled pretty badly from a shot before, It looked like a crime scene for Pete's sake. But I didn't experience any side-effects from it, and it happened while I was a good year or so over T. I'm guessing that I either knicked or poked through a vein.

Also, There was a time where I had to give up T for about three months after I'd been on it for over a year. I didn't start feeling any effects until about a month off.

Also, I've also heard of some guys having their periods come back over years after being on T, and not reporting any kind of issue with their shot...

Everyone's body reacts differently, so it's hard to say, but I just don't see how you'd feel the effects after a fubared shot...

If I were you, I definitely WOULD NOT take another shot to substitute. If you're really concerned about it, give your doctor a call and ask them instead a bunch of people who likely have very little or no medical experience. T is a controlled substance for a reason, it's not Ibuprofen, so don't treat it like it is.

I have heard of before too. I think you should talk to your doctor. I heard that one period like that could be the sign of something else, haven't heard from the guy for awhile but he talked about it. I agree not to retake the shot, as there are bad effects from too much T.
Sorry about this!!

Unfortunately it has definetly happened, I was as shocked as the next person. I would never take a second shot wothout consulting a dr, I guess my question should have been has this ever happened to anyone (and should I consider that retaking might be on the cards). We have trouble importing T into my country and it has been known to go out of stock, so I have to be very organisdd with drs, chemists etc.

Thanks Jay, its actually kind of nice to know I am not the only one. It didnt do much for my mind state.

I had a period once after a couple months off T but I wouldn't expect it coming back had anything to do with a single botched shot. I agree you might just want to talk to your doctor about it. I wouldn't take another dose, not because I believe it would be all that dangerous, but because you want to take your meds as prescribed. Your doctor has to be able to trust you with such a carefully controlled substance.

I do know the post is a couple weeks old so I hope it's going alright.
