I always find camomile + honeysuckle tea pretty good to relax myself. In addition, I have heard that they are likely to be weak T repressors -- although way weaker than medication. Chinese traditional medicine suggests they have an effect on cold.

I got turned onto, english b-fest tea when I went for surgery, and well now its a regular thing, a hot cup o tea can do wonders.

UMMM -- actually, having raised two GG daughters as a single parent, I can assure you that it is typical for a woman, especially near a few days of the month.  I am on oral meds, now for 3 years and 11 months, and while they are not cyclic meds, I have a pretty darn regular 28 day cycle, and there are predictable times the world is better off that I do not carry a lethal weapon.  OHHHH do I get TOUCHY!!  Kaboom!!

I have a similier experience though on HRT a lil longer, and I know it wasnt just me as several other friends noticed it as well and said I can be a real b***h during "that time of the month" lol  maybe it was spikes of t, idk only time will tell now since surgery..

Please don't recommend nocive things like spirits to people... ^^'

Also, if by tea you mean black tea, the one that's made from actual tea leaves, this one is a stimulant, and the only reasons it can calm you down are the fact it's a hot liquid (in which case hot milk or water or anything would do the job) or dependance to caffeine. :/

Hi, I am not on HRT or anything, my life just got turned inside out by this whole thing. It really scared the bejesus outa me. Things have calmed down some since this all started. But I don't want to see any dirt under my nails. That and my teeth must still be brushed 8-10 times a day! My inner bitch will have to deal with the smoking for a while. I started again. Too much stress! Going to sanfran this week for a support group. I should be able to get more answers there. Thanks for your support.

This sort of sounds like an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Make sure you get that checked out. It could help greatly.
