Alekibutt

Hello to all of you!

My name is Alessandro Domenica Weber, but you can call me Alek. I am a trans man from the Philippines. I'm almost 2 years on HRT and live partially stealth in my daily life.

I've known about this place for a long time but have never really endeavoured to make an account. I am one of the moderators of the first FTM group in my country and try to be active in the local LGBT scene.

On a different note, I want to eventually move to Canada. So honestly, the main reason I'm here is to see if anyon's got some connections that might be able to help me in this regard. xD
I help run a group called PinoyFTM for Filipino FTMs or FTMs living in the Philippines.

Hi and welcome Alek,

I'm in Australia so can't help with the Canadian bit but we have quite a few Canadian members.

Hugs

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Thank you to you both!

I didn't even know if it was apropos to include that bit about wanting to move in my intro, so I didn't expect anyone to really mention it. xD

Hi Alekibutt, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11275. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hello Alek,

I'm from Canada, but I don't know much about our immigration laws. From what I've heard though it is a bit tough to immigrate to Canada.

You may want to check out what's been going on in parliament with bill c-279 (if you haven't already)...we may have national trans rights if it goes through...the bill protects against discrimination on the grounds of gender expression and gender identity.

Feel free to pm me after you get 15 posts! :)
