I don't want breasts

Hi, is it possible to transition without developing breast. I know this a strange question. I've been slowing transitioning and upping my dosage for six months. I love everything about it so far, but for a few reasons my life would be less complex without boobs at this point in my life.  I already know once they develop it not reversible. I realize some will say I'm not being honest with myself, it's just I also have important responsibilities to others in my life  right now. For the next few years I need to be able to occasionally present myself as a male. I know it means giving up a little for a few years and not being true to myself, but it would just be right thing to do.

Well you could bind them if you need to present as male- if they aren't big (C+) I don't think they are too difficult to hide.

I suppose if you really don't want them (and have money too) you could get them removed.

If you are taking estrogen, even in very doses, you will likely, in time, develop breasts.  It's what estrogen does.

With that said, I have had A to B cups moobs for over 40 years, and it has never stopped me from presenting male.

Now, what did MtF trannsexuals do before the 1930s and the advent of hormones?  They coped the best way they could.  Sometime dressing.  Sometimes living "stealth."

I don't know if that's possible. If I were you, I'd hold off on HRT until I was ready to come out to everyone. HRT is a pretty serious and permanent - like you mentioned - process. After so many month the development will be irreversible. Are you really prepared to hide from a select few people for years?

As others have said, once you start everything it will be hard to hide.  You may be able to do it, but it's not certain.  If you really feel you need to continue as male for some time, then you may want to hold off on hormones.  You can't know how well they may work.  It's best to have a coming out plan developed once you start with hormones.  Is it possible for you to disclose this to the people in your life?

It's not the boobs you should be worried about; it's the facial changes. That's what people notice. Boobs aren't abnormal, they just get called man boobs. Nobody makes a connection with just them. Facial changes, people notice and figure it out or at least start suspecting.

Like Jamie, I have A+ to B size boobs and have so far never encountered any difficulty passing male because of them, while dressed of course.... :)

P.S. Again based on my own experience, limited breast growth is more or less totally reversible if you stop HRT.

If you don't want breast you might not want to take hormones. Who knows how much breast development you will get

The only thing I can think of is simply taking blockers which shouldn't make you develop breasts

Though, with no sex hormones you could develop bone problems. You would need to talk to your doctor about alternate solutions for the bone issue in that case.

Both cypro and spiro have gynecomastia listed as a 'side effect', so even just an AA may cause breast growth.

I'd suggest the OP needs to have a good, long, hard think about her plans.
