Hey guys im over here cause I've had some uncertainty lately about how masculine i look. I feel as if i look really feminine. I think its just me being hard on myself but i wanted an opinion from you guys. I'm 10 months on T but i feel i should look much more masculine. Thanks!!

You're not extremely masculine, but definitely a pass for me. I wouldn't THINK about gendering you a female if I saw you just like that!
But yeah, I know the problem. Your own eyes can be deceiving sometimes.

And nice name too, but I'm the one with REAL dreadlocks here ;P

DreadLOX, You completely pass and I don't think you look femme at all. You do look young. I'd say around 19 or so. Could that be why you think you should look more masculine? Most young guys don't look that masculine, imo.

I wanted to grow dreads so bad, but thanks to my genes my hair is thinning front center of my head! Would leave for some not so sexy dreads haha

Im 22 so not too far off haha that probably is why. I take cream so transition is slower but it has been good to me. Ill take both of your words that I pass. I just feel my face has that feminine shape. Not all guys on both sides of my family have strong masculine features either. Thanks guys!!

Nor will smiling make you look more female (sometimes I think it does, and I take pics of myself with a grumpy face, lol!)

Ahh man, that sucks! I know some guys who have dreads with thinning hair, and it looks great (the key is to wear them like the mane of a lion, and not think about what others might think). But yeah, it depends. Maybe I'll cut them eventually too, if the thinning on T gets too much and makes it look bad (short hair/small mohawk has been 2nd on my list for a long time too).


Okay, I know I posted my pic before, but this one is a full body shot (slightly bend through my knees tho', and ignore the derpy pose and face XD) I like how straight my chest/torso looks here, but I'm not sure on my face. I just see TOO MUCH female in there *face-to-desk*

I'm sorry...where'd you find female in there? You'll have to point it out to me, because I'm not seeing it. Same goes for you, DreadLOX. You both pass perfectly fine to me.

Erik, totally male, your face is maybe a bit soft looking but not female at all.

I shaved my facial hair and shaped it. It was long and connected all the way around my face and chin. I'm worried I look like a girl again. What do you honestly think? Am I being paranoid?

Seriously Darrin, you have nothing to worry about. I don't see any feminine features on you whatsoever. And I think you did a great job trimming the beard, it looks badass.

Y'all look very manly to me! Erik, that full body shot of you makes you look VERY masculine! Your face doesn't even look femme in that pic. If I woulda just seen that pic at random, I woulda thought "Dude" without a second guess. :3 And Darrin, you've still got facial hair, no way you could look feminine with that! Haha! But seriously, your face shape is very male, I think you could still pass without any facial hair whatsoever.

Erik - You pass to me, the only thing that would make you look more masculine would to not have such baggy trousers on, they make your shoulders and top half took smaller, whereas most men have a V-shaped bodies with their shoulders as the broadest part.  But you still pass to me with your current style, so don't let me change that.

Darrin - Definitely male, as always.  You need to kick your dysphoria out the window because you're never going to look female again, hair or no hair!
