So, guys, I just put a pic of my face on pictriev, it said 96 percent masculine. I feel pretty proud.
I'd say that you pass, Organous.
Body looks pretty good, Liminal!
And yes, a very infectious smile, Caito.

Omg, don't think that site is very accurate. The pictures I actually don't mind (such as my profile picture) came out as either slightly more masculine, or slightly more feminine (around 60/40-ish one way or the other) and the pictures I haate ALL came out as extremely feminine, every single one was over 90% (even sans makeup!) - in fact, the one I hate the most (cuz of bad lighting and a weird look on my face) came out 99% feminine and 1% masculine, and was the closest to my age (I was in flourescents so you can see all my features really well in that one).

It's weird, because it seems like, even though I like the pics I take in the mirror better (because I get to see myself while I take it and can make sure I don't look weird or anything) the pics I take head on (where I'm always making a weird, uncomfortable face) come out more feminine on this thing. Why would that be? Does the mirror distort my looks in some way I'm not knowing about? Or maybe it's cuz the others were taken head on, and I'm sorta looking to the side in my profile pic? I dunno...

Also, it almost always guessed my age at 24, which is totally WRONG. I am 18 >.< The closest it got was 23...

Don't kill my happiness. D:
Lol, jk. It even told me I was 40. But even if it's not accurate, I still am happy. I passed yesterday to some strangers, even with my female voice, but they just  thought I was gay. I was just like, "Nothin' wrong with that."

Erik and Darrin, you both pass well to me. If I hadn't known, I would have totally though you were both male.

About to get my first T shot and a combination of bad stuff happening recently just knocked my confidence and I'm just not feeling it lately.  No matter what I do I feel I look too feminine.  And I've been working out a lot lately so I've lost weight but not where I'd like it and with weight not going in the chest and yet shoulder and pec workouts starting to show, I'm feeling it's very obvious.

Am I just being stupid or does anyone have any hints for next time I go out???

Leo: It looks like that binder's looking good. I'm jealous of your vest too. I've been wanting to were them for years.
Seth: Looking awesome from all angles.
Matty: I haven't seen a picture of you yet that I even questioned you.

Woke up with some really bad bed head. and was in need of a hair cut.

Hair down and then with the usual product.

A full body

hey there. just wanted to suggest a different pair of glasses. and maybe not too much product in your hair. Both of those things might just be me, but it wont hurt to experiment.

I personally think you shouldn't worry too much, I'd say you pass 100%

Jack, I know it is hard but try to not let hate bring you down. I was a target for a couple of guys for over a year when I worked third shift at a diner. I passed to a lot of people pre T but somehow they clocked me. I'm convinced that some people just have an eye to pick out trans people. Sadly they're usually the close minded bully types.

In your photo I would say you pass but to be honest with everyone here there is more to passing then just looks. Pre T a lot of the times your voice can out you quicker than anything. In many ways the younger guys have it easier pre T. They just look/sound like little boys. When you get in late 20's and older it becomes increasingly harder to pass because the youthful looks that helped for a long time start to fade.

I think you look great and T is going to work it's wonders soon. Hang in there buddy. =)

Thankfully, and I've no idea why, I have a pretty deep voice so talking actually helps me pass a lot of the time. I can't wait to see how much deeper it gets!

I dunno why my confidence is as low as it is right now, but it's debilitating!

Jack  You definitely look like you pass to me, don't let yourself get down.  Once you get that T in you things should start to change in your confidence, you're heading in the right direction man.

Hey, I'm new here.
This'll be my first proper post (excluding introduction), and obviously I'm keen to know how close (far away) I am to passing.
You all look so good to me! I feel a bit inadequate, but what the hell. I'm pre-T and all. I don't even have a binder, though I can mostly get away with that, I think.

My problem, as you can see, is that I like to dress like a dandy, which is probably no good for passing.

I get the feeling the hat helps. It hides what was probably a bad haircut decision on my part.

Pass, fail? I really can't tell anymore. I have no idea how to improve my presentation short of getting hormones, which ain't gonna happen till uni, so I'd be pleased with any advice I can get!

EDIT: Removed pictures for privacy.  :)

Lajs: I think you could maybe pass as a very young boy in the first pic but not the next two.

I think the issue is that the clothing is fine, but given how young you look, it's just not quite right for the age group.  Personally I don't even wear the clothes I'd like to.  I'd like to be a lot smarter in appearance but I keep being told that the maximum age I look is 18 and for late teen years it just looks weird and eye catching if I wear smart shirts or dress pants.  I somewhat meet a middle ground with chinos and plaid shirts but the more teenage I go, the better I pass.  If I'm having a day where I want to look a little more grown up but still pass I'll wear khaki combats/chinos and a poloshirt but to sell it, I add the skater shoes.

It's up to you at the end of the day, my philosophy right now, and I only just started T today, is that I dress to pass, not dress to preference.  Once I look my age (and have better weight distribution which will also help with smarter appearance) then I get to dress how I want.  For me, I value pass-ability over preference.  Not going to be the same for everyone but that's my 2 cents.

I think that look would go fantastic with a little facial hair in the future.  I could see a hint of Johnny Depp coolness there for sure!

Jack, you took the words right out of my mouth. Exactly how I feel right now, basically.

I look up to you, dude!  You look real sharp in a suit.  Can't wait for the day I can rock a suit like you, and because I'm Scottish, I wanna get a kick-ass kilt too!  :)

For defo!  The only issue with that is that Johnny Depp was a bit effeminate looking in Willy Wonka.  Totally worked for the role and there's nothing wrong with that, but I could see a look like that looking real good with a trademark Depp goatee.

Actually in 3 of the 5 I don't have product in my hair. I have pretty much stopped using any in the past month. As for glasses it'll be a while my eye's are so bad my lens' cost an arm and a leg and any frames that aren't bronze/copper wash out my ginger face. Would you suggest a different rim shape?

I've been on T for three years and im really thinking about going to the pool shirtless. I have never had any type of top surgery or anything.
  •

Darth_Taco

I envy you with a fiery rage ;_;! Meaning that yes, you'll be fine in a pool shirtless.

Thanks. Sometimes i have doubts because i have huge pepperoni nipples

Looking AWESOME man! That chest looks totally male (and so does your face, but I bet you already knew that, lol ::)), and I wouldn't blink even twice if I saw you shirtless at a pool.

I'm 18, but I really haven't changed much since I was about 12. It's a curse!
And I would absolutely love to be able to grow a Johnny Depp goatee one day.
Thank you for your advice!

You definitely pass. I looked at your pic before I read the post, and I thought, "Wow, how is it he doesn't have any scars from surgery?" Not all guys' nipples are super tiny, yours look male to me.
