I was advised that you should have some fat to shift around with the HRT. I was 5ft 7ins + and 142 lbs and thats is a good weight for a male and I may try to lower this in time to 135lbs - after my fat has shifted. My appetite has increased and I find that I'm less hyper and much more relaxed
To my knowledge the general consensus is that fat doesn't shift. The trick is simply that new fat will start to deposit in the female pattern during HRT, hence a lot of us have tried to trim down a bit pre-HRT (mainly because it is easier to lose the darn stuff under the influence of T).
Also don't forget that under HRT your weight may not actually change much, yet you are still depositing fat: muscle loss would normally make you lose weight (muscle tissue weighs about 2x as much as fat), so staying constant implies that you are gaining elsewhere.
Oh, and as for 6ft (1.83m) and 62kg: that is a BMI of 18.5, which is pretty much the borderline. I wouldn't lose want to dip any lower though. I used to be 124lbs @ just over 5'9 (BMI 18.14) until I was about 25 years old, regardless of how much I ate (when we went out to dinner after sports at uni I usually had two main courses...). That changed with age, and I started gaining in the later years as my metabolism slowed down. Today, HRT has decreased my appetite, but less muscle mass also lowers the needed base rate. So far it has pretty much balanced out. I did lose another kilo, but that was intentional.
