I rarely have bad dreams but the night before last I had one that was a bit too realistic and vivid for me not to mention.

It was in Seattle, a place I haven't lived in for over five years, in the dream I was at the the lake with friends having fun and that part of the dream was pleasant, but as I was headed back to the car I found myself walking down Broadway on Capitol Hill in the cute red and orange terry cloth beach coverup I had been wearing at the lake....from out of nowhere 4 males surrounded me and started to taunt, tease and grab at me (not one word related to TG was mentioned) like in some bad dreams I was screaming HELP over and over as they were grabbing at me but it was as if my screams were muffled and no sound came out.....that's when I woke up in a panic a tried to figured it all out.

Even today it seems so clear and real! But I don't know what brought such a dream on,

Have any of you had a similar dream?

Note: when I was a gender confused 12 years old I had an unpleasant situation forced on me that still bugs me occasionally
Just a "California Girl" trying to enjoy each sunny day

I have had a similiar one ...recently actually.
About a man touching my ass ans I told him
To stop....and threatened me....
So I covered my face and cried while he molested me.

I heard these are typical of girl specific ddreamsm..

Most of my life I had conflict-based dreams, dreams where others are just accepting crappy situations and I am trying to rally them to get things changed, to make it right. I  know what comes from my childhood struggles to assert my gender and have it recognized.

The worst dream I ever had was just a few months post-op. I was 24 when I had surgery and had been seriously suicidal for a number of years. In the dream I woke up to find my body as it used to be, unchanged, and that the past few months had been just a dream. I woke up screaming, in a cold sweat, and shaking like a leaf! It was so upsetting that I did not get any more sleep that night but it never happened again.

I've had dreams similar. One in which I am in a fight and getting pummled but no matter how hard I try I can hit back with enough force to do anything to stop it. Another one I am in a house and someone breaks in. The intruder/intruders start coming at me. I have a fully loaded pistol and it does fire but the bullet drops before it gets to the intruders. These dreams usually occur for me whenever there is a situation in real life that I feel helpless over. These are not nightmares as much as just freakin' disturbing after I wake up.
