Really, I do.

This isn't a substance which you want your skin in prolonged contact with.

Neither is JP-4.   :o :o

"It's time for the girl to get herself some barbecued chicken!!"   :) :) ;D

Is that "SkyDrol" (hydraulic fluid)?

Rhonda, sorry but I hate planes with a passion!  >:( Going on Twenty Five Years around commercial aircraft completely takes the charm out of flying for me! May I suggest a extended VA somewhere in a tropical land? I can arrange it ya know:angel:

In fun, (does anybody else actually reply to these?)  :icon_bunch:

Reply isn't expected or necessary; I was just venting.

JP-4 is jet fuel and it burns when you are showered in it.

Skydrol is indeed hydraulic fluid and it too is very nasty.

I love my job, but that is really the only aspect of it which I hate!

I do not like working with aircraft oils and fluids. Long day, honey.  :)

One reason I never got my A&P ticket.  I love having the knowledge, and the competency it gives me.  I hate the mess, and ruining clothing, nails and skin executing a repair/upgrade.

It's a lot easier cleaning bits and electrons out from under your fingernails and your cuticles.  ;)
