Sol Luca

Hello ^.^

My name is Solomon, though I plan on changing that soon. I'm MtF trans, I live in Ontario, Canada.

I've felt female ever since I learned the difference between boy and girl, as far back as I can remember. My first real realization that I felt this way was when I was as young as 5. I tried going into the girl's bathroom at school and got yelled at; back then I couldn't understand why.

I've just come out recently though, to my close friends and family. I'm 19 turning 20 in August. They were really surprised, but I guess that's because I'm fairly skilled at acting like a male. I'm really really new to all this, I have a lot to learn, and would love some advice, information, and a place where I can talk openly about myself. This is my first time registering to a trans forum, and I apologize if I get some things wrong or don't understand the jargon straight away.

So uh...yeah. I'm always lost as to what to say for introductions. ^.^; If you have any questions, please ask!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I read all the rules and stuff, thank you for linking them to me. Right now I'm just mostly reading stuff. There's a ton of information here!

Hi, Sol,

In Spanish Marisol is a beautiful girl name...kind of sort of derivation of Sol...

Wow, thank you very much for the warm welcome! <3

And sure thing! To be honest, most of my questions revolve around transitioning and gender re-assignment surgery, but a lot of topic here that I've read already have answered many of them!

That's a beautiful name! I'm Native American, so I was going to look for a name that reflects my heritage. It's hard looking for the right one!

Hi Sol, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 11945 . That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Welcome Sol Luca!  I am in southern California, but we have a large contingent of Canadians on the site.

Perhaps your spirit guide could help you in your quest for a name.
