Thank you Shan & Julie!

We are about to go to Victoria Secret now :) New bra and panties day is always a good day! The fact that my mom is excited too makes it even betterrrr!!

So, right now I kind of already know what's going to make me happy today! I love this feeling!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Rewatched a movie that still doesn't make any sense, but it doesn't matter because it's pretty. Also, listening to Oomph! and other music.

I spent the past weekend with my family and mostly my mom. It was the first time she's been with me since December when I was still presenting as male.

We went shopping today and she kept giving me THE HUGEST grins every time someone gendered me properly in front of her "finding everything okay, ladies??" "here you go miss, you wanted the size 9's right?". Every successive time her smile appeared to grow and it was like I could literally see her confidence and trust in my decision to transition growing, too.

I could FEEL that she was proud of me just by seeing the look in her eyes, and it nearly makes me cry thinking about it and how far she has come in the past couple of days of being with her. She has really fully and completely accepted me as her daughter. She has always been accepting, but now it's for real. This woman that birthed me... is incredible. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! gahhhh

Well, here come the tears.........

ugh! where are the damn kleenex!!!

Can I have your mom?
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Battlestar Galactica would like a word. :)

On topic: I may get to be an extra in a local theater's marketing (through a loose work connection). They have no idea how diverse they're gonna be. :D
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Got to shake hands with a very eccentric local celebrity who was awarded a Medal of Honour for having raised over £1 million for charity.

Well...we know T worked on my voice. My brother's name is John, and my aunt calls and I answer:

Me: Hello?
Aunt: Hi John! How are you?
Me: Uhhh....this isn't John.
Aunt: Who...? Uh. OH. Ok. Um.
Me: Do you want to talk to John?
Aunt: No, I want to talk to your mom.

Muahahaha. I don't think she is particularly crazy about my transition either so that was interesting.

En beetje nederlands praten. Nah, i'll stop.
Not being completely depressed but not being on the tail-end of a manic episode (like i was on Saturday) either.

2...interesting passes. Given I am seen as a younger guy, I get some things I never got before. A guy came up to me and said "hey buddy, you got a cig?" And then at the store, a guy (he said he was 18) asked if my clothes were for back to school and what grade I was in.

Part of me is like "...um, people think I am a teen and I am actually 24 and looking to be more mature." And the other...is kinda grateful. I never got to be a teen really. I grew up so fast and people often thought I was an older woman as a teen. I've never been seen as adolescent.

I was sad because I don't know how to cook. At this rate, I'd either starve on my own or get morbidly obese from all the McDonalds. So I tried a simple chicken recipe...with barbecue sauce, onions, bell pepper. It turned out really tasty! And now I have a honey cake in the oven. It really made me feel a lot less depressed about not knowing how to cook. I can't do anything fancy yet but I am one step ahead of where I was before!
