Hey

Today i came back from work and when i went to my room i noticed that it had been cleaned and my girls clothes and make-up had been picked up from the floor! i felt terrified!!!

Later my landlady knocked on the door and we had a chat!! i said i didnt really know what is going on in my head, but that it is a huge part of my life!! :/ she was fine with it!!

Im kind of glad that she now knows and she is the first person to know!!! But im a little scared that all my other housemates will find out and that things might become abit awkward!

What do you ladies think?

Personally speaking I would find it really, REALLY strange if my land lady came into my room.  I would find it even stranger if she then felt she had the right to re-arrange my stuff.

Rosie.
Well that was fun! What's next?

Hmmmm i kinda don't mind, i think she only went in there to vacuum up and i had left stuff on the floor!!!!! she lives in the house so i suppose she felt she was doing me a favour!

She was really good about the trans issue though and she didnt seem to mind at all, just was a bit of a shock and felt asthough i was forced to come out, which may be a good thing!!

Sometimes its life saying, come out alil please. The world wants to see you.  Before I went full time.  Sometimes when I was in boy mode, I'd leave for work or go out to the store and still have my nail polish on.   Try going to work and explaining why your nails are pink.     Babysitting your friends daughters excuse works only a few times....

It's awesome that your landlady is cool with it!  I'm more concerned that she went into your room without asking first... even if she owns the house, you should be allowed some privacy.
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

It sounds like its not normal to others for someone to be in your room or something? As far as being worried about other roommates finding out , I would say they probably won't for a little while if she doesn't tell. But if you keep leaving things out sooner or later the secret will come out . You don't think they will be ok with the real you?

Yea i'm not too bothered about her going into my room, she didn't go through my wardrobes and drawers, just did a bit of vacuuming and noticed things. Having thought about it, i'm really glad she felt she could chat with me, instead of keeping what she found to herself, its also great that someone else finally knows, and that she said if i need someone to talk to i could talk to her!

As for my other housemates, they are both quite masculine boys, so i have the feeling they wouldn't be quite as accepting. I need to sort some things out in my head and have more counselling sessions before i come out to certain people i think!!!!

Hee Heee, that brings back memories. OK I'm a lot older etc, but I had a woman who came in every three weeks or so to clean the house. My wife had been hospitalized for about a year by then and my house cleaner left a note saying she had wiped the lip stick off the drinking-glass next to my bed, and that she thought the shade was cute and would suit me.

I called her and we had a chat and I told her I was TG etc, she was great and although she is now retired we keep in touch and she is so happy and supportive that I'm now me FT.

She occasionally calls into my office at work if she is passing and we have a coffee and a chat about families etc.

I think I learned from that to embrace people who accepted me and use those happenings to build my confidence and trust.

It has worked!

Hugs
