Small feet. I'm looking for anywhere that would sell men's size shoes in a maximum of 6 1/2. Ideally somewhere in the 5 1/2 to 6 range. Not boy's shoes. I tried some of those on today and it didn't work so well. I wear athletic shoes and the colors look like they are made for young people. Plus they are uncomfortable. I'm going back to wearing women's shoes with masculine colors for now but I was wondering if anyone else has any stores they like? I've been in about 4 stores in the area. Used to be able to find a 6. The lowest I can find is 7.

Have you tried Payless? I think they go down to 6.
Also, what style of shoes are you looking for? I know if you're looking for gothy shoes demonia goes down to 4.
I think vans and converse go down pretty far too, and the female shoes look the same as the male shoes.

I'm a little envious of you guys with tiny feet. I'd be rockin' the Spiderman, Batman, and the Superman sneakers. Oh yes I would.

Oh, and Tadpole you should be able to go to Foot Locker and specify what you're looking for. Even if you did have to wear kid sizes they have ones that don't look any different from the larger ones. I was at JCPenny with my gf not too long ago and they had a decent variety of small sized shoes. I mean Nike's, Puma, etc are about the same regardless of kid or men sizes. Just depends on the specific style.

It's better for bulk buying but you can try finding an agent for taobao.com (I use yoybuy.com) and you can get lots of different brand makes for around $10-15 each.  They're genuine, it's just because it's a Chinese site and therefore super cheap.  Sizes are usually in European size but there's lots of conversion tables online.  Often they give exact sizes so you can measure your foot with some measuring tape and be sure it'll fit.  I've never had an issue with shoe sizes when ordering from them.  Also, because it's a Chinese site, they have a LOT of smaller sizes so you'd be fine for sizes.

And yes, I do rock those kind of shoes. In fact, I was wearing some the other night when the cashier in the supermarket asked me for ID when I was buying wine because apparently I 'looked under 25'. I'm 41... in body, if not in mind.

I have the same problem with small feet! I find Shoebuy.com to be one of the few places I can find men's sizes down to like 5-6. Got some awesome Vans! I ended up with a boys pair for some sandal-y type shoes from Amazon and they are ok, had to choose "normal" looking ones out of all the Spiderman ones LOL!  I have sneakers and hunting/hiking boots from Shoebuy. Still have trouble finding dress shoes, I think they have them in the smaller size, but I haven't bought any due to the cost, but I'm pretty sure they do have them!

There's actually a lot of masculine looking women's shoes out there ... especially boots. Plenty of uni-sex options like sneakers come in small sizes. Also uni-sex boots/shoes, such as demonia as Soren mentioned, come in smaller sizes.

I'm not opposed at all to grabbing stuff from the women's section as I've found a heck of a lot of cool stuff there (more variety and often better-fitting) that totally looks like guys clothing and shoes.

I haven't bought shoes anywhere else in years.  You can search by size too, so you can see what you can choose from easily. I think they are owned by Amazon now, but they still operate on their own site. Huge selection.

Not sure if they always do this , but every time I've ordered from them and chosen free shipping, they surprised me and upgraded my shipping for no charge to next day or two-day.

I love Zappos!

Zappos is really good. Journey kids and even Ebay might have something in a smaller size.

Thanks for the ideas. Might end up trying Foot Locker or Payless. I do have some women's shoes that look enough like guy's so that's what I'm wearing for now.

I wouldn't trust buying shoes online, it's just so hard to know what size the shoe will actually fit like. Shoe shopping is a horror story for me each time, because I'll fit anything between an 8.5 and an 11, simply depending on how the shoe's made (my feet are long AND wide). :/

I actually just bought shoes the other day (I went in the stream with my old ones and four days later and an hour in the dryer and they still hadn't even started drying, so I had to throw them out). I had to go to 4 different shoe stores and ended up going back to the third store rather than trying any more places and buying shoes that are WAY too small for me (size 9) because that was the best fit. I like skate shoes because they're the most comfortable to me, and apparently with skate shoes I need to crush my toes in order to find something my heel doesn't pop out of. I was thinking my toes would stretch them out...it's been like a week, and they haven't yet, and all the while I may have a broken toe or something...so...I'm kind of disappointed in my $35 purchase...

I'm glad that I have masculine feet (most cis men around my height have my shoe size), but I also wish my feet at least weren't so wide. Usually if I have to go up to a size 11 it's because the sides of the shoe are too tight, and at that point a lot of times there will be a good bit of extra toe space in there (or, depending on the shape of the shoe, sometimes that extra toe space will make my feet look like clown feet on my body).

All-in-all, I think I'd rather have smaller feet than misshapen large ones. Because yes, a lot of women's shoes are unisex, and having that option as well would be much easier (I've been shopping in the men's section since I was like 11 because that's all that fits me basically; a lot of shoe stores wouldn't even carry my size in women's). Also, I have a pair of Demonia heels I bought for a cosplay years ago, and their sizes are pretty spot-on, and their boots are very masculine. I think when I finally have the money to get boots again I'm gonna buy women's boots just because it's easier to find good unisex women's boots than good men's boots. The combat boots I've always bought have been women's shoes that I was lucky enough to find in my size.

Oh, and I'll just point out that shoes with laces that stop a few inches from the toe and shoes without much height (vans, converse) will make your feet look bigger.

OK, I have two things to add.

I was out walking the other day (car broken, touchy subject! lol) and I looked down at my shoes, and I realized I had forgotten to mention my AWESOME skate shoes from CCS, they have great choices of small sizes, and I get a lot of compliments on them from young cis males! ;-)

Also, depending on where you live, buying shoes via the Internet is actually a wonderful thing!!! D0LL describes having to go to 4 different shoe stores, and actually shopping online is WAY easier than that nightmare! (Come to think of it, around where I live I'd be hard-pressed to even name 4 shoe stores, never mind drive around to all of them, and then of course they wouldn't have ANYTHING in these small sizes of which the OP speaks anyway!)

Most of the big online shoe sellers offer free shipping to and from...So, here's what you do: Order 2-3 pairs, even of the same style, in different sizes. Try them on, keep the ones you like and that fit, and send the rest back. No muss, no fuss, you get what you want which is a much larger selection than stores anyway, and I figure the UPS guy goes down my street anyway and Voila, you've saved all that gas and aggravation, and you get what you want!! That's how I figure it anyway. It's nice if you have feet big enough to fit into regular guys shoes, but if you don't, it's super nice to have this other option! I regularly get emails from the ones I've bought from for 20% off as well, so there's that too.

Great! Thanks again for the suggestions. I'm probably more inclined to try offline first (also know of a local shoe store that definitely does special orders in sizes not so typical). Even if returns are allowed. I'm okay with stretching the size a little big as well. I just don't have a lot of money right now for shoes so I'm putting it off.

I am a size 6 in female shoes and wear I think a 4 or 5 in male shoes. I got a nice pair of Swiss Army sneakers (never knew they made shoes) at Target for about $25. They're really comfortable and manly looking, and my male boss bought the same pair a few weeks later, so I must not be the only one who likes them.

I would buy from Swiss Army again, because here I don't see any quality difference between the men's and the boy's shoes. I've had them for about 6 or 7 months now and there's hardly any wear on the soles, usually in any other shoes I have major wear and even holes in them after a few months.

got the opposite problem, whant some of the more femenine shoes witch they only sell in female size =(
