So I told my twin sister that I was trans* a little over a week ago. She was amazing. She told me that she already knew, and she already thought of me as her brother and not her sister. Then she gave me a hug and told me she would help me out if I felt depressed about it. She had a few questions for me, but instead of the stupid ones I was expecting to be asked, such as; "Why did you decide this?" All of her questions were about what I was going to look like after I transitioned.
I have the best sister in the world.
Now I just have to summon the courage to tell my mother and my older sister. I am really worried about what my mother will think though, because she has a friend who has a son who is gay, and every time he is mentioned she says how sorry she feels for his mother. I imagine that in her mind this is much worse, so I am worried about how she will react.

[Edit] (thinking more about how she has reacted to certain things I have a theory in how she will respond.)
She will certainly cry. She will say something along the lines of "What did I do wrong?" And/or "Is this because of your father?" (He left when I was nine)
After she is done crying she will start saying things like "This is just a phase."
And when THAT doesn't work she wil simply say I can't go through with it because we can't afford it.

Fab to hear your sister reacted well! :]

I am not too sure what to say about how you wish to tackle telling your mum....

Let us know how it goes. Good luck  ;D

Awesome to hear about your sister!

You can't predict how anyone will react.  I know that's tough, but it is the reality.  Just make sure you are ready and confident to take everything on and you will do fine.  Good luck :).
