So to those ladies that use the soul source dilators:

Have you ever attempted to use the biggest one available?

For reference: http://www.soulsourceenterprises.com/html/ordering_grs.html

I had my surgery with Dr. Bowers and for some reason I only have up to the green one, but I know other girls that have the Orange one.

So how many of you have been brave enough to try the largest dilator? and to those that have, have you had any issues with it? I only ask because I am contemplating buying it and was curious. :)

Yep. Brassard has us go up to the orange after 3 months. I admit I was a little intimidated the first time, but it actually wasn't that difficult; a bit uncomfortable for maybe a week longer, but never actually painful and certainly possible. I'd say if you're fully comfortable with the green, as in it's not taking work to use it and it's not hurting, you could probably handle the step up easily enough.

(I don't think I truly understood my wife's complaints over the years until she pointed out I used to be bigger than that. ;) )

I am a Brassard girl also and yes the OMG (orange monster gauge) is part of our welcome to womanhood package. As said by others it takes a little longer to got used to the size. Me first week just needed to slow down a little more then normal.

Its all good

@4 months I went to the orange no issue- but slightly uncomfortable, but than again it is hard plastic :icon_neutral:

I use the orange SSD as well. Went to Dr. McGinn. Yes it is big, and yes it is very uncomfortable for like the first week. It's gets better, but I still prefer the real deal by a wide margin.

Good luck D:
I'm still working on moving up to #3, don't want to think of #4 yet (especially when I get labiaplasty later).

I managed to use that insanely "are you out of your mind dilator" after 5 months of dilating , I used it for a week and stopped , and I was sore for over a year from it , I fact it was the main reason why I stopped dilating for like 3 or 4 years , it may be even longer , time sure fly's , but I started dilating again , , people , do not stop dilating !!

I am another Bowers girl who only got up to Micky Mint in my going home present.  At six months now with active dilation, Micky is almost too easy to go in and work out. If you twist the SSD while they are in your vagina, they will pull and you can feel stretch as the bent part changes position.  I will get a chance to see Marci in two weeks when she is at the Southern Comfort Trangender Conference and may ask why we only go that far.  I would not be afraid to use Oscar Orange, but then again, guys at my age are never that big any more, so why??

Dammit, I want a guy, not a new dilator!!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

I began using #4 (which I have named Clyde; all of mine are named for relevant Pac Man ghosts.)

The first day was tough, days 2-6 were quite difficult and I had a couple sessions (I was dilating twice per day at that point) when I didn't use it because I simply couldn't. On the 7th day it got significantly easier, a lot easier the next day, and since then it's as easy as the others.

One thing that helped was to insert it partially for a bit then remove it and apply more lube a time or two each time I used it during those first days.
