Hi i went to see a endocrinologist about my body hair growth as i feel it grows to fast he explained that this is genetics and that no tablets would work only laser or electrologist , he said that spironolactone would only slow down my beard growth as arms , legs , back are all genetic , im just wondering if anyone on spironolactone had seen there body hair slow down and what dosage they take?

Dosages are not allowed on this site.

Spiro will affect hair growth in all body areas. The degree varies from person to person. It will have least effect on beard growth which needs laser or electrolysis.

Once you get your T levels in the female range you will notice body hair will be less of a factor or no issue at all. As said face hair and pubic areas need electro or laser. I would suggest laser at first to get a fast clearing. After that i would then use electrolysis for any regrowth being laser is not perment.

Lots of luck

I took a poll here a while back. About 80% of people responding said that HRT helped give them less body hair. Don't know how many were on spiro.
