OMG I have been reading everyone's blogs on coming out to friends and heard all the successes and the horror stories and I cant believe it.

I decided tonight to take a male friend to the shops tonight and while I was driving tell him. I was SOOO nervous. but when I told him he just sat there and said "oh really!" and asked me to elaborate. But let me give you a bit of context this guy is a bit of a macho man's man and is in the army but he is a good friend and I can't believe he accepted me.

I was so shocked at his acceptance I just had to tell someone.

Yes defs I feel so much more at ease now that I have accepted myself and I have told a friend.

I suppose people can surprise you, so I'm defs going to tell some more people, working up to the time I tell my family.

Andria, pleased to hear you took a successful leap in coming out. Having done that myself, the first you, you have so much Happy positive energy flowing, you want to share & keep the ball rolling. You know the personalities of all the important people in your life & will find the way to tell your story. Be cautious, take your time & pick your place for each individual.
