People appeal to God and His Word as the 'substratum' in a pitifully weak mechanism of substantiation for such behavior, but if they really knew Scripture, they would never even try to appeal to that Perfect Standard.

It is unfair nor rationally defensible to cynically and universally condemn the entirety of mankind in this regard and it is actually harmful to the self and that is something that none of us can afford to suffer.

This is simply just another 'bump in the transitional road'. Sure, it hurts, but it serves no purpose to dwell extensively nor mourn about.

My problem however is that such represents another addition in the accrual of..........

We are all sinners Rhonda, some are just better at learning & hypocrisy than others and when it comes right down to it I seriously doubt The Lord is really going to discriminate against one offender (or offense) more than another . . .

Read your post and I feel your anger, yes I agree that such things and attitude's should not exist but I agree that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, I included. If we think about the ultimate rejection on the cross the Son of God, cried, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" I find understanding and encouragement in that the Son of God, (Jesus) knows how we/you feel. An high priest interceding for you. Not just empty words but action for you and me so that we turn outward to him and not inward to ourselves. Sorry, I realised I sounded preachy, I did not want to, but rather than anger being like a cancer that eats at our hearts we turn it inside out to become a peace that transcends our understanding, healing instead of harming, peace instead of hate, hope instead of hopelessness.

I hope this was the right place to say these things and apologise to others who may not have a faith.

I understand Rhonda, someone nearly made me give up on trying to find a way forward with my GID for me and I find peoples attitudes even in the transgender community sometimes staggering and incomprehensible. I know its not family but it still makes me sad and feel like giving up.

I have to carry on the best way I can Rhonda so cling on and have the hope that is not the kind that the world has but the kind that God gives.

Having grown up in the bible belt, I was always too scared that I was evil.  Then I realized that God made me this way.  Who am I to question God.  While I have found some narrow conservitive christian thinking (Typical right wing..If you don't believe, act and watch the same tv shows as us, your a heathen), I have found a few enlightened souls,  one who said just before my Jaw hit the floor, "Jesus accepted everyone, So I should too".  Wow, that was from one of my co-workers.  Wish more thought that way.

You know people believe what they believe,  takes all kinds to make the world work.  It would be a very boring place if everyone was like you or me.
