I am really stocky and short 5'4. I think this helps me pass way better then if I was my "recommended" weight. My extra fluff hides curves and stuff.  I haven't been misgendered in a really long time,but I think it has a lot to do with the way i carry myself and being more "urban" like. Plus I grow a really cool chinstrap/neck beard although my testosterone levels are normal for a female bodied person.  Sometimes I feel like I'm not binding well and that my moobs are really noticeable but then I have to realize that i am going to be my own worse critic right.

thatboyfresh: I can't believe you're not on T, and I never say that to people. To me you carry your weight very well, it's doesn't look like "fluff" at all, you just look like a stockier guy. I'm pretty jealous actually lol.

I've been living as male out side my home since the age of 11 so I think that has developed my male swagger. I do know I am very fortunate in that respect though and in terms of my genetics and looks. I can imagine that for a lot of men it isnt just that easy. And I respect those guys for enduring that.

a new pic,after some bad days,do i still pass?when i put my hair up (like in the pic) i dont pass somtimes,but i pass 100% when it's on my forehead

hey, i don't think I pass yet (pre-everything but binder) but I was looking for tips to maybe pass better before T.

I think you pass just fine.  The only thing that stands out a little is the hip to waist ratio.  Otherwise you are a very good looking guy.

You pass really well in both of those pictures.  I don't even know what to suggest to you - maybe start working out your upper body to change your shoulder to hip ratio.

Really? I think I should stop trusting my mirror. I am working out but starting out slowly because of weak shoulders, and I'm losing some weight too  I can't help smiling now, you guys made my day!

I cant believe any of you are even asking if you pass.. I dont see any female in any of you

I look terrible and not going to ask anymore cause Im well aware of the fact I dont pass at all. I get nothing but constant reminders of that fact

I think the re-afirmation from a total stranger is what is comforting. It is really hard to see the "real you" through your own eyes. For me sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder how on earth I pass. And sometimes I look and see nothing but a male looking back at me.

Can't even see it.

Can't really see any facial hair, is it supposed to be your chin?  I'd advise you don't try fake facial hair in public, though, as it could become obvious if folk take a 2nd look and could out you, which I know would be very dangerous for you.

I'll be honest, you look more male than female by far, however the trouble you face is one that so many FTMs face and that is looking over 18.  I haven't heard of solutions for this, but maybe someone here has a trick or two.
