I'm on spiro and the highest amount of EV one can get rx'd.  Possible TMI

This morning i woke up with leg cramping in my lower left calf, rubbed it, pain left.

Had blood in my stool for the last three days, today i wiped and it was excessive, and the blood in the stool was extremly red. and alot on wiping too.  slight blood was also noticed in urine because of discoloration.

I have no ulcers, I have no drug use.  I didnt want to go (and still dont), but my sister who is nurse told me I have to go

So now, I am off to the hospitol, to see that everything is ok.  I have had upper thigh bruising for the last month but nothing bad.

I'm terrified this is going to effect my HRT. That is all i am scared about.  And I *hate* hospitols.  But- here we go, off to the hospitol- pray that everything is ok for me.

The Docs should find the source of blood loss, hoping it is a simple fix. They may cut back  the amounts of your hrt. I'm not a medic though.

Thanks, ladies, I'm back. The D something test for bloodclots showed none in my leg or elsewhere.

I dont do anal play alone-or with the wife....

Ultrasound was next, do to abdominal cramping......(shocker inbound)- revealed a utererus lining thats angry lol?  apparentlly the 47xxy is incorrect slightly, and more indepth then thought. heh. the small bleeding had to escape somewhre and the way things are with internal organs found their routing.  so wtf. I'm beyond confused at that stuff, but explains why the high doseage of EV is working so fast. A cups halfway into month two.....amongst other changes.....like these magical out of no where cramps.  No hemroids, no internal rips, fissures, etc.  ->-bleeped-<-s just routed in a funky ass manner internally.  makes me wonder how complex srs will be and all that.  but i dont get why shock hrt would jump start and reanimate a cycle that i never had since i was 18- when male pubrty hit.  never bled before, from 11 up, just extreme cramps. *shrugs* It'll be an interesting endo appt next month on this.  but luckily, no clotting found, so yay!

The doctor then proceded to ask if i had a penis (lololol) cuz my charts and everything say female, and the whole uterus thing- he never had somone who was intersexed.  I just infomed the receptionist i was 47xxy and im here for a possible blood clot.  The gender marker for male never made it once, to anything....even my return to work note has gender marker F as well as my bracelet thingy.

and this should not effect my hrt unless the endo feels otherwise, which most likely will include even lower doses of spiro. *shrugs*....

the 47xxy thing hit me with a whole "this all makes sence", in the past...... the ultrasound there about showing a uterus, has me even more confused.  Would it mean still xxy?  or does it implicate something deeper?  I'm lost how that could form like that internally. 

But the good news is no clots, everything is fine, better safe then sorry.  Thanks for the concern ladies.  A whole new can of question now arrises, however.....

my inner upper thighs get random bruising now for the last few monthes since hrt started- its not iron deficiency as im on a womans multi vit daily....I'm thinking its just bruises show easier now that skin has thinned out....

It's a DVT test or Deep Vein Thrombosis. Wow you have some pretty unique health issues.

Okay so it's usually a mosaic of xy and xxy cells.  And Wikipedia says there are fewer than 10 recorded cases of xxy/xx mosaic.  Or maybe something else entirely.

Looks like you have one heck of a "my first period" story.  Not many women make medical history with theirs.

the large inner thigh bruise is a DVT? :/ edit: I just goggled images, of DVT's, nothing that was shown looked anything like my upper inner thigh bruise- the cramp in my lower leg was when I woke up, which I rubbed like a dummy and shouldn't have.  the bleeding I thought I was having was compounded with worry from the whole "oh ->-bleeped-<- I coulda moved a clot".  def no clotting.  just angry uterus from larger then life E doses.  one of the admins knows my dose, which is confirmed the legal max for a female...

but ya def. good I went in and got it checked out, life or death things can be scary, and its always better to place safe and see, then ignore it and that be it.....

one of those things that comes with the territory for us all.  if you get those warning signs that are all over the material on our meds, follow the right procedure.  it usually ends up being nothing in the end.  well, for me, it was, but not anything bad or serious.  I was told to stay away from Tylenol, or aspirin, I forget which. 

so ya hope people can walk away with a lesson here, which is- if somethings not right don't risk your life thinking it isn't, and if it isn't, hey, you did the right thing checking. We may want this change, but its no good if we aren't alive to live it <3

ya, im gunna bringt up with my endo.  it def scared me....called in the gf who had me wipe and was like, ya we need to go get that looked at, talked to my sister who is nurse trained and was like yup, you are caling off work.  kinda scary that it happened, but kinda relieved at the same time.  not sure in the long run what this is going to mean with my whole HRT, but the huge injection amounts weekly definitely woke something up....

I was terrified to go, crying, because if it was a blood clot that woulda meant bye to HRT and I wouldn't be able to handle that.  they'd have to put me away or something, heh.  luckily, it was this.  somewhat baffled.  but ya, the look on my face had to be priceless.  cuz when he was like you know you have a uuterus right? and I was just staring at him like huh? and hes like "do you understand my question? did you know you have a uterus?", I was like, uhh, I know I was xxy but didn't know *that*.  so now I gotta ask the endo about this.  I don't get how a uterus can be there considering the down below....which is slightly different ill give it that but ya.  I almost crapped when he asked if I ahd a penis.  not only do I despise that word, but the literal way he asked it was in genuine curiosity.  which, I couldn't blaim him on after the whole ultrasound dealy o.  heh.

I wouldn't really call it a "period" considering that requires the egg cycle and all that, and last I checked I didn't have ovaries to produce that.  just an irritated uterus lining, but from what no clue, meh.  sometimes I love my body to death, and sometimes, it confuises me ->-bleeped-<-less. the more I go along HRT the more things happen in such a short time frame and the more the whole IS stuff surprises me.  kinda makes me wonder "what's next??" 

A period is shedding of the uterine lining, nothing to do with eggs or ovaries. The shedding is cyclic.

well then it seems the cycle the endo wanted to jump start or was hoping to jump start has happened. heh. kind of an embaressing story or way to put it out there, but this is my life so hey the lesson still stands though for everyone in the end though, if something extremely abnormal to what you are used to happens, go get it checked out

ya I was under the impression that the way the cycle worked was ovaries helped produce eggs, and then they travelled via fallopian tubes, and if they don't fertilize, then you bleed.  *shrugs* guess I was wrong, not a first time for me heh. kinda cool to know that all this cramping wasn't in vain. I don't know how much more often this is gunna happen, I don't wanna go running up to the er each time freaking out.

The hormone cycle does release an egg and send it down the fallopian tube. Your uterus says hmm, no embryo attached so sheds.  If you have no ovaries, obviously an embryo didn't attach and it sheds.

makes sense. Ill say it is def. different to experience non the less.  but hey the doctor who saw me, and all the nurses were friendly as hell.  he only called me "he" once, and apologized for it too.  other then that the intake nurse was kind of rude, she was like "what are you getting a sex change?" and I said, yes, actually, I am, and im also intersexed.  But after that, everything went smooth.  all in all it was a 9/10 trip to the er, if I had to rate it as anything.  Doesn't mean anything more or less to me in the end, just that hey, I have a uterus.  which is pretty cool and all.  doesn't change me in the long run, except now everything I went through from 11-18 pretty much makes sense.  first time I ever had any bleeding though, for sure.  wonder if my endo is going to drop down my dose of EV now or if he is going to keep it super high up there, guess we shall see next month?

PrincessDayna, hrt sure did shake up your body, getting such bleeding going. Did the dr say everything about seeing ovaries on the mri?  Is the blood coming out of a separate opening or is it with peeing and bm's?

Wow... I am really glad You turned out fine - I supposed this means "fine" for You, does it? Intersex, huh?
But Your post made me think about something - I used to have the same story with stool - not periodically, but there were times when it was quite... annoying. Blood tests and usual stuff did not show up anything. I am glad my genetic test for possible intersex condition is due to be done within this week or the next one.

Having a blood clot should t mean coming off HRT completely. There are a number of treatments and implants that can be used to keep the most harmful effects at bay.

The key two harmful effects being a big piece of clot breaking off and bursting in your heart which moves the refuse to your lungs where it blocks the blood flow of oxygenated blood back got the heart and having a piece break off and cause a stroke.
Those are the biggies and plenty of patients have come across my table, gotten an IVC filter installed to catch the big clots, and continued living while smoking and/or using birth control medications. So relax about the clots. I think you have enough worries without that single problem.

Princess, but does this mean that You - theoretically - could get pregnant???
