Today was my first therapy appointment.  I dressed in full female attire from hair to shoes.  My appointment went very well and confirmed to me that I am transexual, but i already knew this.. I scheduled my next appointment for Sept 16th.  At this session she said she would sign the consent for hrt and set me up at the clinic to get started...yay!
I drove 2 hrs to get there and it was worth it.  I stopped to eat on the way home and got my first "mam". I did get a few strange looks from a few people but i expected this..Off to a great start in this transition and am looking forward to the days ahead.

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Isn't it fantastic when you go out as yourself for the first time and you know it's right.  Then all the doubts completely fade away.

Congrats.
