I actually called to ask but couldn't bring myself to ask. I'm sure I wouldn't have liked it.

I would have been named William. The shortened form "Will" feels like it could be me so I went with it. Theres other names that I like and feel like they would fit me better but I figure if I was born male then I wouldnt have had a choice in the matter so I'll take what I would have been given. Plus I do like that I'm keeping my initials the same.

My parents had to take few days to name me because they thought they will have a son but that didnt happen :( so they never mentioned what male name they wouldve given me but my mom said when i was 3 or 4 i would always introduce myself as their son and i give myself a guy name which was Faisal
i hated (and still hate) my actual female name
Life is unfair  :-\

Loving someone who doesn't love you is like waiting for a ship at the airport :(

I haven't had the guts to ask them yet.  It feels too likely to tip them off about me before I'm ready, so it's something I'll mention when I talk to my Father, I feel like I want his blessing before I keep my surname anyways.

I remember when my mother told me about how she was actually pregnant with fraternal twins, but lost my twin sister around 7 months. During the talk she mentioned what my sister's name would of been had she lived.

I took that name. Guess it might seem weird or even creepy, but it felt right to take it. Guess that's the closest to knowing what my girl name would of been.

Lauriane

After my grandmother's name (Lauraine). It's my fall back name. If down the line I end up disliking Alexia, I'll take it instead.

Michelle G

I would have been Michelle they told me when I asked when I was 8 or so...that is the girl version of my birth name.

*Giggle* Well, my version of anatomically correct would probably have been christened "--What?"

But, as a boy I likely would have gotten Alexander or Jackson. Both names I like~

I never asked, but seeing I was originally named after a grandparent, it could have been Caspara (Maternal Grandmother) or Lydia (Paternal Grandmother) or a combination.

I was going to be name Katherine. The doctor actually first identified me as female when I was in the womb. I'm not certain who I would have been named after, but we have all been named after movie stars my mother like.

I actually asked that question when I was a kid.  My parents would have named me Juliana.  My sister got that one a few years later.

Gillian is the anglicized version  ;)

Would have been Christopher. Luckily my little brother didn't get that name. So I'm Chris. And I picked a middle name that's ancestral. MacGregor.

The doctor told my parents to expect a girl... I think he meant trans-girl though.

They had the name Laura chosen and all ready to go.  :( :( :(

Joan

I would have been Lisa.

When my brother heard that he teased me for a while by calling me Lisa because I wasn't exactly 'boisterous' as a small child.

I am from the Clan MacGregor.  I even have the kilts.  (Yes, guy clothes, that's it... I still technically never was a crossdresser.  ;))
