Hello my lovely ladies I just got back from my 3rd appointment with my endo and he had the results for my hormone levels which were as follows.

Estrodial: 349 pg/ml
Total Testosterone: 1.2 ng/ml (down from 17)

I've been on hrt for 3 months now so I was wondering if these numbers were in a good range for where I'm at so far.  :)

Love you all xx

From what I know (which isn't a lot) those are pretty close to perfect. e should be 300-500 and your t is fine.

The e looks good.  Many endo's disagree with having the estradiol above 200, but they are super conservative, and being too low stalls out feminization.  So as Isabelle said the e is in an acceptable range for most doctors.

You had a nice drop in T levels, but the testing is on a different scale than mine.  I'm under 50ng/dl which would equate to under 0.5ng/ml.  My doctor is a transgender specialist in a large gender clinic, and she's going to keep the t under this 0.5 range.  But even my tests are just a little vague in thier approach and results because I'm in now way a Phlebotomist, or Medical Lab Tech. You might want to see if the doctor would up your Spiro a little. ???

Good luck Paige.  Your looking good.

Your levels sound pretty good. This is a good reference for estrogen and levels in cis women.

The endo at my clinic reduced my E to bring my blood levels into the middle of the "normal" range - without ever seeing me.  "Normal" for whom?  Adult women perhaps.  My feminisation stopped at that point because the levels are too low to do any good.

In my case the levels are good for an adult woman and no good at all for a girl going through puberty, which is effectively what I am.

Age and health has to be considered when setting doses, but the blood tests need to reflect the increasing estrogen levels of a greatly younger girl.

My endo did the same thing because he wanted me to be a woman in her 60's.  I finallly gave up on him and went to a doctor who understood transition and the medical needs for progress.  My transition had completely stoped and my anxiety went through the roof.  Within weeks of changing my prescription I was once again a new woman.

Haw thank you Kathy that means alot  :), I still don't see myself as good looking yet but it's always great to hear <3. You look good too hunny :).

Ah I see interesting I wasn't aware of different testing scale. He hasn't seen the need to up my spiro yet but he did up my progesterone plus he implanted an estrogen pellet so that I won't have to worry about having to take my estradiol 3 times daily and he said my estrogen levels could spike up a fair bit too with the pellet.

The endo at my hospital says that spiro reduces breast development, so they don't use it.  The only reports I could find online were the manufacturer apologising to cis-men who have had unwanted breast development.  Worth asking your endo.
