hello Everyone.
I'm new here but I need to know, Yesterday with my  Boyfriend I was lactating, and I'm very scared about it, My Endocrinologist is out of town and I can't ask her about this, is anyone having or had the same problem? is it too dangerous? do I have to be scared?

Thanks a lot for reading

It happens. Unless you're squirting out streams, I'd stay really cool and even if you are, it's probably not anything to worry about for the time that it'll take your endo to get back in town. The hormones that we take make our bodies think that we're prego, lactation just comes as part of the package. Whee!

I had just a little when I had sex with my boyfriend, and I was really freak out by that, It was just a couple of drops ( no more than 20 ) and only when he was playing with my breasts..... that's why I was afraid.... really thanks a lot, I really need to heard that is not so bad before my endocrinologist comes in town again.

Thanks a lot  Victoria

Since about two months on estradiol, I've been responsive to squeezing as far as nipple discharge is concerned.

Went to doc. Nothing.

It's a side effect of e.  Have fun :3

Just FYI: I've been lactating for three years now. It's just a thing. Most girls GG or not, can discharge if someone is playing with the breasts and squeezing them firmly enough then pinch the nipples.

How do men react to lactation during play time?

I'm jealous.  I think that would be a good thing.
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

My bf doesn't like the taste (he says it tastes like sweat) but that doesn't deter any playfulness

Actually I have 2 years 9 months on hormones, and this is my first time lactating  :-\.... and my boyfriend likes it, I have to blame him for squeezing my breasts until got milk, it's not painful. is just... kind of weird, now I just squeeze a little and a drop comes out... I really need to speak with my DR, I'm still a little concern about it but thanks to all of you I'm not scared.

This and your hormonal levels, its suggested to ask your doctor but unless its a funny colour you should be fine.

(I am not a doctor)

I read that lactating in MTF could mean a overproduction of prolactin.

This may need some attention, medically speaking.

It is true, however that milk is milk, and the
mammary gland works by demand-offer. Once established the production, the
more you ask, the more it is produced. (Ask any La Leche Legue woman :) ).

Have you changed your HRT lately? Lactation can be brought on in part by rapidly dropping estrogen levels.
  •

chibiStephy

no. I haven't, I have been taking the same hormone dose for more than a Year by now, but I had some issues with my antiandrogen I didn't take the same dose for two or three days, I was out of pills

hello Everyone ^_^.

I would like to share this results just in case someone is searching information about it,   My  endocrinologist told me I had to perform tests for prolactin, THS,  T4  and estrogen

Prolactin 85.86 ng/ml
Strogen  94.80 pg/ml
T4         4.85   ug/dl
TSH       2.51  uUl/mL

all seams to be normal but Strogen has drooped from 417 to 95 so I'm concern about it, so tomorrow I have the meeting with my DR, but I'm not so worry because all seams to be normal besides my Strogen but I Guess is going to be just a matter of adjust my dose

so what you think?

Yes, this was my experience when I stopped hormones years ago... gotta say it was pretty weird and just happened at random times but was always preceded by a sudden short lasting feeling of euphoria. I later read that when a woman's progesterone drops after giving birth it's a signal to her body to start lactating. It was never very much, I don't remember being game to taste it... but it lasted for a month or so and made wearing tees difficult!
