Sooo. I'm a week into the Body Beast and I'm doing T25 as a warm up kinda thing cause I find Beast very static. Well damn, it's kicking my ass lol. Feeling great though. Looking forward to the stretch routine today hehe.
Anyway. I was looking into recovery drink and such. I have never been one to use them but I'm curious. Some people swear by them. I am a skeptic. I wonder if I can make myself a smoothie that would do the same as those really expensive supplements. If I understand correctly, the recovery drinks that you take after workout are loaded with carbs. Correct me if I'm wrong. So making myself a smoothie with protein and loads of berries mixed type thing would do the same?
If anyone has any input on their nutrition routine post workout, I'm listening.
