Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Recently introduced my 5 year old to Indy, he watched the first two before this one. However, we don't let him see the extra violent/bloody parts. :)

World War Z - didn't catch it at the cinema even though I intended too. Not a huge fan of the zombie genre (or Brad Pitt for that matter) but heard enough good things about it to want to check it out. Quite enjoyed it, not gory and had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. Glad I've seen it.

It was an interesting take on a pandemic gone wild! Thought it was good for a Brad Pitt movie, I liked the emphasis put on his relationship to his family. It was an edge of your seat film though!

The World's Fastest Indian, a great film based on a true story. It also has a trans character who isn't a psycho or a hooker.Set in the early 60s it's  worth watching for the old cars and clothes as well.

I heard some reviewers drawing a comparison with Contagion, that other pandemic movie (most notable for Gwyneth Paltrow dying!)... WWZ sure was a lot more exciting than that plodder.

Jane Eyre was a good movie.  Think that's what it was called.

Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Thor 2 at the theatre Friday evening. It was good, but not as good as the first one.

On BluRay this weekend, I saw After Earth and rewatched Oblivion. After Earth was a bit disappointing.

Now I'm watching Water For Elephants. I've read the book, curious to see if it stays true to it...

Rewatching Alien vs. Predator once again. I mostly just needed some background noise while I color.

I just watched The Lifeguard the other day. Kristen Bell. Pretty good movie.

I saw Dirty Girl with Juno Temple about a week ago and fell in love with it. One of the best movies I've ever seen! Exactly the type of movie I love. Sweet, funny, quirky, but with lots of emotion and a whole lotta heart. ;D

Who's a fan of Bruce Lee? Well the famous actor/karate master had to have a master too right? I'll introduce you to the world of Wing Chung. The movie "Ip Man" is about Bruce Lee's mentor and there's actually 3 movies about Ip Man. "The Legend Begins: Ip Man", "Ip Man", and "Ip Man 2". A true master of martial arts and among the greatest men ever lived. Be forewarned it is Chinese made and all with english subtitles but there's so much history and the story is accurate and captivating.
"Bravery is the capacity to perform properly when scared half to death.

Man of Steel,
Don't know how many variations I've seen of the super dude, but thought it was good and should have a sequel.
