It's only been a few days and already I have a pimple which is noticeable because I rarely ever get pimples although it is possible it is just coincidence.
Also, (and this may just be the placebo effect, but we'll see) I feel a lot better mentally. Before, it felt like my brain was wrapped in cotton. It was fuzzy, muddled, and very frustrating. Now, I feel more alert. I like it. I hope it's not just the placebo effect. Although it might also be because I'm sleeping different. I'm not sure how, but my sleep has been more restful. Sure, I've been catching up on missed sleep, but normally I'd wake up groggy every time regardless. Instead, I actually feel well rested. I'm not sure if it's the T or something else, but I like it. Does it work this fast or am I imagining things?

Is Stridex good?

Don't know about stridex.

I use Neutrogena stuff.  Every other day I use a bar of soap they have that's for your face and a moisturizer with spf15 that they have.  On the other days I use an exfoliating cleanser in the shower and the same moisturizer.  Seems to me that the moisturizer is the key (for my face) cause the more moisturized my skin is the less anxious my body seems to be to produce excess oil.

My second shot is tomorrow!! I'm really excited, though I'm not looking forward to my leg hurting again.  Finally was able to make it to the gym yesterday because the soreness finally went away.

How's everyone doing?

Can I still join the party? I feel like the ugly older uninvited brother here with almost 5 months on T :P

Regarding acne, ugh, yeah. I'm facing the same issues. I thought I was lucky when it didn't come within 2-3 months, while a lot of guys mentioned having acne within a few weeks. Around the 3 months mark it hit me hard, and now my face is covered in it. Pretty sucky for a 26 year old, but not much I can do about it.

I was like "dayummm, I'm an oldie compared to these guys", but then Lordkat had beat by a longshot.

:P

One of the fun things I've noticed after about a month and a half on T is that my facial hair is growing in already... but mainly on my chin and moustache area. The hair on the rest of my face is longer than it used to be but it's still very soft & fluffy. The stuff on my moustache & chin areas is definitely not soft or fluffy. I've had to start shaving it and I find myself habitually rubbing my chin all the time: I find it very affirming.

In fact, all of my body hair is longer than it used to be, but for now it's still soft and downy. I daresay that'll start changing over the next few months. Oh, and my downstairs growth is coming along nicely.  ;D

My voice has definitely deepened but I think there's more work to do there. My singing voice now sounds a heck of a lot like Sting from The Police, but I'd like it to get deeper if it can.

I'm also suffering from major greasy skin & hair. I've found that I have to wipe my face, neck, back & chest with Freederm wipes about 3 times a day, along with washing with Freederm face wash every night. And I've had to find some shampoo for greasy hair so that I can keep its oiliness down, otherwise it's pretty grim by lunchtime.

One of the best effects though is emotional stability. I don't feel so anxious all the time, and I seem to recover from upsets much more quickly and easily than I did before.

30 years on T? If your talking age, I have kids older than that.

LOL - thanks to Jay and His Lordship, I'm feeling like a spring chicken right now: I'm only 41. In body, if not in mind.  ;D

My bad, definitely not 30 years on T!

Misunderstood.  I've noticed that on a lot of sites/groups folks are late teens/early 20's so I have been aware of my age in comparison to other folks around me in those settings -- I'm only a couple weeks in on T :)

Figured I'd update this thread.. Today makes it 1 month and 1 week on T for me. An exciting change I've noticed in the past week or so are a few dark hairs on my mustache area. It's a start at least lol. How is everyone doing?

I got my second shot on Wednesday.

Awesome guys!

Had my 4th shot on Wednesday.  23 days in and 23 days sober as well.  Feeling good but honestly not much different aside from sex drive and my voice feels different.  I'm calming down on needing to spend time trying to see what will be different or if I can see anything or... etc. and just enjoying the increased energy, sobriety, time with my kids and being conscious of taking care of my body for the first time in my life.

Love hearing how everyone is doing!
