Aaaaaaahh! Guess who has her appointments to get hormones!

Yes, multiple appointments. Three of them, actually. Two are in the same day. This is how they handle things, and I am completely willing to abide by their protocol.

I couldn't stand waiting indefinitely for a therapist, so I walked into my city's LGBT clinic this evening and made an appointment myself. The wonderful lady at the desk explained to me how the appointments worked, and she was very friendly and helpful. My first appointment is in two weeks, and the other two are a little over a month away. I was practically floating as I walked out of the place! They even updated my name in their system to my girl name!

I have my name for my Doctors ( LGBTI family care) and therapy appointments (LGBTI center).   So I am with brothers and sisters. I feel at ease when I am at these locations.

Congratulations!!! I just got my first doses of estradiol and the anti-androgen, and just took my first two pills a few minutes ago! Good luck to you, I hope you have the appointments and get them soon. It is such a huge relief and wonderful feeling!!
