I have a huge scar on my knee from when I was a kid. I hate it. It is getting smaller as the years pass, but still there. :(

Try getting shot....those scars don't fade well and just when you think they did, they stay white no matter how much sun you get.

Lucky y0u!! I hope I get to do that. I would love to model as the real me. For pants, Im a size 13, I can squeeze into an 11 but I wear 13 or my ass looks squooshed right now in 11's. My curves are coming in and I am sure there is more of that to come. I will post three pics here. First is last week and no make up, second on is a week ago, and the third is from 2 months ago....but I know I need the face and it gets better and better. Also, not sure if anyone has seen my past pics but even before starting my transition, women always told me I had he legs they wanted.

I wonder if there are any other trans people on this forum that model during or after transition. I welcome anyone to post pics of their modeling shots if they have or want to model. :)

You are adorably cute!
I can see you doing some modeling for sure :)

Funny thing is there may have already been a TS VS model.

I love how people get their undies in a knot when it comes to us. But they fail to realize there are plenty of trans woman who have transitioned and are high fashion models. Some of them are so beautiful and no one's the wiser. But as soon as one of us expresses the desire to be a VS model the bigots come out in droves.

I know, on CNN I made a comment, and the comments made me sick too. I posted on there knowing some would tear me apart.

You are correct, there have to be some TS models out there. People can't hate if they dont suspect, and people fear what they don't know or cant understand. I wonder if they are just afraid that someone who was born in a mans body is able to be happy as a woman. Does that scare them, or is it that the men are afraid that they might find a TS model attractive? Or a woman might get offended because we might actually be more feminine on occasion? Makes me wonder why some people hate it so much? How does it really affect them?

It shouldn't matter at the end of the day but it always will. Most people can't get past the fact that someone so beautiful used to be male. No matter how perfect she looks her past will always be the focus if she's out. I think it's mostly an American thing because in Paris & Milan the fashion world has embraced trans models, Lea T is the most recent but there have been others that had successful careers.

Like Tracy Africa...

She was a high fashion/print model in the 70's & 80's. She's work for some of the biggest brands in the industry. But her career was cut short when a very hateful mean gay man outed her to some hair stylists, make up artists, and industry clients. She ended up having to leave for Europe to work because she was unable to get jobs after it was discovered. To me if a trans women of color could make it in the 70's & 80's when the world was very different a latina trans women should be able to do it in 2013.

I dont understand how people get so into it, and cant get past the fact that someone who was male, now looks so amazing as a woman. I saw online that bigotry, and the hatred of people commenting on the CNN page for Carmen Carrera. I even put myself out there so that I could see what people would say, and I got torn apart. The subject was about whether she should be able to walk for VS, but the argument ended up not being about that. IT was about whether she was a woman or not, and people saying that trans women are not women and never will be. I swear to god, some of these people had no idea what the hell they are talking about but just like us, we are entitled to our own opinion, just as we are to them. I believe hat the common folk really don't care and it is the few that speak out so strong that ruin everything. Everyone that is close to me before I came out is still close to me, and now I actually have a few more people that are closer to me, and the friends that I do have, we are closer than ever. SO I like to believe that most people will accept us as women, and not as people that are screwed up in the head, who are just pretending to be women.

I would love to model after transition, and I really hope that the fact that I was born into this world in the wrong body, doesn't ruin my dreams before I have a chance to even try.
