Ok, so, here's a couple pictures of me.  Got nothing fancy going on here, this is just how I generally look on a daily basis.  I know I'm far from passing, but I'm not sure what I should do to help with that?  I have been told my face is too feminine, and my eyes are too "pretty", and my lips are too pink. XD  Curses...  And yeah,  I know the hair doesn't help, buuuut I refuse to cut it any shorter XD.  Suggestions?

I second what Malachite said, you pass better in the second picture. But, I think it could also be because of how your pose is in that one.

Just wanted to ask about my voice because it's the only thing I feel weird about right now.

but for those of you who don't want to/can't watch videos.

5 months on T. I'm perceived as male in person most of the time. On the phone not so much.

Grats with 5 months on T, I think you look great! I will have to watch the video later since youtube does not load well for me since there is a snow storm, so my internet connection is a bit slower now.

Thanks for the input, guys. :)  I guess I'll just have to get myself more black hoodies and try to look grumpy all the time. XD

William Wimmer: I say ditch the beard idea, dude!  You have masculine features as is and you could pass without.  The beard just doesn't work both because it not only looks fake and because you just look too young to have a beard like and it looks unnatural.  Also, no matter how great you get that beard looking, it's going to be a tell.  No one has a beard like that and then pristine clear skin elsewhere.  I barely have any facial hair right now but where I do, there's always a hint of it, even after shaving.  Almost like you have slightly darker pores on your face.  This is why I shave every single day despite not having much because how little I have shows up and gives me away because it's only in select spots and since I'm nearer 30s than a teenager, it's a tell.  You couldn't have a beard like that and not have evidence of shaved off hair around the beard and replicating that is going to be near impossible.

LocustBlotter: No pass on first two pics but a pass on the third.  The hair and make up don't work in the first two and would probably have jumped on the hair if it hadn't been for the awesome straggly look in the 3rd one.  Keeping it looking more like that is a total pass win, bro.  In the first two pics, your face looks too soft.

Kai: No pass in first pic and I can't comment on the 2nd, it's too dark for me to say.  It looks slightly more like a pass but then in the dark I can't really see.  I'd say if you don't want shorter hair to maybe try having a more middle parting letting hair fall forward without styling up and out on one side as that's a more feminine style.  Either both sides held back (probably not advisable) or both sides down.

rightocaito: I can see how there could be misgendering on the phone maybe a 50/50 thing, but in person, no way.  Total pass, bro and if you feel like your voice is still dropping, you never know where it'll get to.  It's fine where it is right now for in person passing though.

rightocaito, you LOOK very male and are definitely a solid pass in person, though I might not take you for straight (no offense). If you can, I'd say when you're alone try to practice speaking from your diaphragm/belly and really projecting, I bet that would help you achieve a more masculine tone. Use your "outdoor" voice, like if you were in a loud, crowded club or restaurant and really wanted to make yourself heard. Oh, and did I mention that you're handsome too?  ;)

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide.

One of the things i do in my free time, just wanna share it with u guys, does it look fake ?!!!

Sometimes, it's hard to find words to tell you how much you mean to me. A lot of times, I don't say anything at all. But I hope someday, you'll understand, having you is what I live for...(I Love you my Queen )

Wow, you are a nice looking guy. I wouldnt bat an eye at it, but since you said something, now I see that the beard doesn't appear to be the same shade as your hair.

Hey guys. Haven't posted in a while but things are going great for me. If all goes well, I should be living 100% as male and have my name changed come January. I'm about 4.5 months on T. What do you think?

@ Konnor

Very manly looking. I would even say "alpha manly" especially in Your second pic ;). Btw, Konnor/Connor has always been among my favourite names for guys - it has that very manly vibe in it (or someone has just watched too many of "The Highlander"...;) )

@ josef-ftm
Since You asked about beard, I will comment about it only - as for Your overall presentation, so do pass very good!
Now, the beard.. Same usual issue - I seem to pick up clear division-line between Your beard and Your hairless skin. Its not the way it should look - try some "blending" in between, if You know what I mean. Like blurring those two areas instead making them too distinct - "Here... thats my beard. One 1mm further - oh, here its one now..". Also, Your mustache is supposed to connect with Your beard too.

Looking good bro, you will extremely well served to get your clothes tailored.

@ Gabrielle, thank you! I was very hesitant to get it cut this short but now I love it!

@ Emily, thanks so much! I'm definitely not an alpha male, more like the smart, quiet guy in the corner haha. But it's good to project an assertive image! Thanks for the name compliment too, I love my name and I'm glad it says "manly" (or Highlander lol)

@ Chuck, thanks man! I didn't end up buying that blazer because of the sleeve length actually, but I do have problems finding well fitting clothes sometimes. Mostly it's just pants. Shirts usually fit and I can get away with the short sizes in suit jackets and blazers. But 30 length pants are usually too long on me still. Cursed with being 5'5"! :P

rightocaito: Dang dude, you've changed a lot, looking through your old vids. In just 5 months that's impressive, and you certainly haven't seen the last of your changes yet. To me you don't even look like the same person. Your voice is going to get deeper still - I promise - but it sounds male already. I don't know where you live, but it probably isn't some small conservative town. If you lived where I did, there's no way you'd be perceived as anything other than male.

~Kai: Second pic is passable, but if you don't want to cut your hair, you might want to mess it up a bit more. You can get away with looking scruffy as a guy. ;) First pic is a no pass - the shirt and the pose give you away and the glasses don't help either. Sit up straight and glare at that camera, boy :p

LocustBlotter: chuck's right, this picture angle does trans men no favors - try taking one straight-on. That said, you look like a young boy to me in all of the pictures and I don't agree that you only pass on the last one, though it is your best look.

William Wimmer: You look good dude, you'll probably look just as good without the makeup beard, but for mockup purposes it's true, yer a stud :p

mynameisjacob: First time I ever heard anything about plaid shorts being a lesbian thing. That's what I get for living in one of the aforementioned small conservative towns. I like plaid shorts so rock 'em if you do too. With your overall build they look fine. The problems I see in this pic are your posture and your expression. You look uncomfortable and stiff. Cool shirt but consider having someone take a couple inches off the bottom so you don't have to bunch it up at the waist. If you are a plain and simple jeans (or shorts) and T-shirt guy like I am, hemming your shirts to fit your frame works wonders.

Konnor: Congrats, man! You look awesome but you already knew that!

I'm not straight so that's okay. haha. thanks for the information. I was just actually wondering if I came off as gay or straight now that I look more masculine. Also, thanks ;)

Thanks! I should look through my old videos too because right now I don't really feel that big of a change. haha. and Yes, I'm hoping it will get a little deeper!

thanks everyone!

Hey guys! I've been commenting-but mostly lurking  :D -in this thread for a little while now. Just wanted to post a picture of myself!

Disclaimer: Though I'm a girl, I dressed as a boy to be my friend Willow's date for a charity Drag event. I really took a lot of the advice you guys offer each other in this thread seriously while dressing and just wanted to see if I did her justice (she looked fab!). I am in no way comparing myself to you guys and only have the best of intentions. However, if anyone finds my posting here inappropriate just let me know and I'll take it down in a jiffy! Thanks a bunch!

Wow....if I were attracted to men.... LOL

I'd say there's definately passing potential!  I'd reccomend unbuttoning the top button because it kind of shows the chest.  other than that, you would pass to me.  You will definately be passing even more once you get on T :p jk

I agree with big boss up there. The chest is the one "give away" but minus that and the perfectly done eyebrows lol I would peg you for a teen boy. Young teens mind you!
