One more thought, I see a young Russell Crowe resemblance, one of my favorite handsome and very manly actors!

I wish all you young folks could get away from the lip piercings, makes me think that you might have gone fishing with me at one time.

Wow, thanks for the compliment! :D I like him a lot too. He is pretty darn good looking. I have always wanted a lip piercing for some reason but it does look hilarious when I'm taking it out. My dad threatened to remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers haha he calls it the fish hook.

Honey, I'm a dad and I so relate to what your dad has said. One of my son's quit in high school, had hair down to his a$$ on one side and buzz on the other. I said, "What the hell?" He said, "Dad I'm going to be a rock star!"  :icon_hahano: :D  Every generation has their thing but eventually we grow up! Love your good looks though!  :eusa_clap:

Isn't it funny how we remember faces? I never spoke to you on your old account, and it was quite a while ago, but somehow I just recognized your face and could never put a finger on where that recognition came from.

That aside, you look really good and I think you pass.

Thanks, conformer!! That means a lot coming from a guy as good looking as you!

Chakra, looking good with either hair color. I think I prefer the darker one on you, but you pass either way!

Kytri, I think you look the most masculine in the third pic. Unfortunately, a lot of us have the baby fat issue in our faces, at least pre-T. Not much you can do about it. You might just have to get used to the fact that with your facial shape and clothing choices, most people won't automatically see you as male. Perhaps something you could work on is your voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms? They are important as well and are something you can control. Don't get down on yourself man, you'll get there!!

err... so i made up mind to upload a photo and see where i could improve. i haven't yet tried to pass but i'm hoping to in less than a year, and i probably don't pass. i've never asked anybody either. so what do you think? where can i improve?

*sorry guys i took them down*

oh btw i usually wear glasses outside, but i don't like how i look in them so here i am without glasses. plus i don't have the guts to keep these photos up for long so quick responses will be much appreciated. thanks

Actually I think your face passes pretty well already YB, you've got good thick eyebrows and a wider nose which both help a lot.

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide.

@YBtheOutlaw You seem to have strong facial features which help in being viewed as male, your hair also seems to be in a male style. Just based off these photos, I wouldn't think twice seeing you on the street.

btw, thanks for the genes dad (all my facial features come from him) too bad you left out the Y

At least in America, lots of guys have some fat in their cheeks nowadays. Your other features balance it out so it doesn't seem to affect in your face passing, at least based on the photos you posted. It's not just your nose and eyebrows like BrotherBen pointed out, your lips seem to be a smoother sort of shape, rather than the heart-shaped lips which are often associated with females.

And, you did say in another post that you passed just recently on the bus, so it's not just us here being too easy on you :)

Yeah, it is true that the fat in cheeks is feminising but it depends on proportions. If you had that in your face and then you were a twig elsewhere then maybe lol. And you also look quite young and younger guys do have that so I say pass.

I really only have my profile picture... Do y'think I'd pass (minus the voice)

Okay.. D: Here we go. I would like to say that I am older than I look, but, that would be a no.
I'm sorry that the pic is sideways </3 Do I pass as a male?

I think that my hair color might actually compliment my masculine features, opinion on that, too?
I have a binder, but otherwise pre-everything.

Ok, guess I just have two things to ask here. How can some of ya'll be so brave to post your pic online? (Awesome job/congrats btw) I'm just curious because I worry if I was to post mine here that someone might recognize me and then some. Correct me if I'm wrong but, it's post your pic at our own risk here right?

I'm full time and don't really care what people think, but if I'd been posting before coming out and someone asked why I was dressed as a girl in pics they'd found online...I'd ask them what they were doing lurking on trans support forums, is there something that they need to talk about?!? :P

I know I don't generally pass, get called "Ma'am" and "lady" all the time, but I wanted to put up some photos.

The sad thing is I actually prefer an androgynous appearance, so I'm not concerned with looking super masculine, but it would be nice if I got read as male every once in a while.

Edit: also this is a preemptive "I know the purple hair is feminizing but I like it, so it's staying." before people suggest I dye it back to its natural color.

I see a guy... :)

@AlexanderMiles from that picture, I'd say you'd pass as a very young boy, like 13 ish.

@Gentish Omg, you're Auntie Shan's son  ;D    Anyways, it's kind of hard to tell in the photo, but you are really flat which def helps. Your face could go either way for me, though it's a little hard to tell with your hair covering part of your face (like the color btw). If things are going well, you'd also pass as a young male, also around 13ish. If you pluck your eyebrows, I'd say you'd pass better if you didn't pluck. The eyebrow in the picture looks a little thin and manicured. You also might want to check out shirts with collar sizing, because the collar on your shirt is too big for your neck, so it makes you look a lot smaller and delicate than you would with a properly fitting collared shirt. I know it's a tough find for small guys, but it would be worth the effort if you wear that style often.
