I first started coming to this site around June 2012 I got a account on here in September 2012 actually didn't make my first post until January of this year and haven't stopped posting since.

Yes I did I remember my therapist was trying to get me to come out of my shell and thought it would be a good idea to post I guess she was right I don't think I'm that shy anymore.

Anna, total non-sequitur, but I love your new SN! Totally captures the spirit.

I learned of Susan's from a friend, who is also a therapist, after my coming out Transgender a year ago.

Once I checked out the site and registered I posted 20 minutes later.

Susan's continues to be a welcome source of support, inspiration, knowledge and community for me and likely the thousands who cruise or lurk and never post.

I believe we provide a very important service for our peers and society that is possible with our technology.   This was totally absent from my life growing up in the 50's and 60's and hard sometimes to imagine how different it is for young people today.
