I learned that for online shopping, Macy's has a nice tasteful selection of shoes in my size.

What size?

If you don't mind me asking. ;)

That's very personal! But I like you so I'm size 11. I actually like my feet. Problem areas are my big shoulders, and my waist and hips are almost the same size. I'm tall. My feet look petite.

Tall with broad shoulders and subtle hips? Sounds like Maria Sharapova. And she's a goddess!

Thanks for the Macy's tip. :)

Thanks and you're welcome! That's right. If I lose some muscle mass I could be sort of a Sharapova girl. Think positive!

I learned that you really can't buy a salwar kameez in a set size, it's all either one size fits all, or it comes "unstitched" where you need to sew it together yourself for your own size.

I just thought that was surprising, like, you buy clothes and then have to sew it yourself?  ???

(For those who don't know, kameez are the big long length shirts many Indian Sub-continent women wear, a dupatta is the scarf, and chunidar are the tight leggings with the gathered bottoms or salwar are the looser sort of pants.)

I learned that apparently those random cold shivers out of nowhere are more common among people with anxiety and panic disorder.

At least now I know I have secret anxieties. I get those shivers quite a few during the day.

I learned that it would be almost impossible to eliminate semestering in Saskatchewan high schools because current graduation requirement entail four full year Math and English courses be taken consecutively in three years. :(

I'm still blaeech! Money for drugs is definitely needed.

I learned that I may have to come out to the larger community prematurely to spare my son the stress of keeping family secrets.

My psychology teacher said this today, I was laughing my butt off. She was really tired.

"We always have emotions. We have them if we want them and when we don't have them."
"All the hardest, coldest people you meet were once as soft as water. And that's the tragedy of living."

I learned that it's possible to offend even while actively trying not to.

That I can be humbled by both by humiliation and by complimentary words.

This quote by Rumi, how I came upon it at a most appropriate time:   "Be like melting snow.  Wash yourself of yourself."
"When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too."

My dog jumped out of my arms and kicked me straight in the chest. I learned that my nascent boobs hurt like hell.  :-\

I learned that I can't study when I am just really bored with the material.

I know what post your talking about, don't feel bad.

I usually assume no matter what i post that someone will get offended around here.

Nah, it's a'right.  Nothin' wrong with being taken down a peg or two.  Thanks, though.   :)

I learned that when I'm not overwhelmed at work, I feel as if I'm actually *helping* people.  I mean, go figure, right?

Right after spring thaw you'd think Lake Agassiz had never drained.
