  ( BTW, no Grinches, no coal-flinging and no debates about the validity, religiousness or inclusiveness of this Holiday allowed!  For the record it is a non-religious family tradition in my home.)

  P.S. We've already clearly established everyone wants KATs for Christmas!  Giving yourself away doesn't really count as your own gift need, however priceless that may be to the recipient.

I don't want any of the gifts I'm going to be given. Not a one. Especially n not the abundance of male clothes that I always get but never need. I want something that just costs a second of my parents' time.

My number one thing I want for Christmas? My wife, as friend and housemate and coparent to our children. We've made some great progress, but I don't know that this present will come for Christmas.

Number two? Acceptance by my family. Tolerance is pretty disheartening and marginalizing... I don't feel much more than tolerance from my family right now. (My wife's family is much better, really).

Any presents I get that fit into #2 might make me cry... I suppose there's a chance of it.
