I'm having a terrible night. I am in a really bad/sad mood and I can't seem to shake it. I've basically thrown myself into playing Resident Evil games because the stories are something I can get into deep enough that I forget about everything else.

*hugs* Thanks Cindy. I will be OK. I'm just thinking about how this year could be very difficult as I will be having two surgeries and have to hold down a job in the meanwhile...that should be interesting.

That's roughly my strategy: sit back and watch, play anthropologist, and effect policy where I reasonably can. 

It's kind of a buzz kill when I'm really happy and share it and then someone comments that I am "different." From what? I haven't changed at all. I've always had a full range of emotions that include happiness and I've been repeatedly saying I love being me for the past couple years. What did they think I was like before?
