Really I was adopted. I have no idea who my parents were and everything about my adoption is sealed in the Governments red tape in Washington. All I know is my real last name. It is the one I use now and what it will be legally changed to when I change my name later, Merriman. The name Jessica came from a patient who died while I was working on her after a car crash. I found out later she did a lot of charity work and I thought her name should not die, but go on. My way of remembering her. Hope she doesn't mind.
