Weird title for a topic. Sometimes... We just have little pearls of things that are important to us.
Little insights of wisdom that are nothing more than a couple lines.
We read them and make them as little meme's, words plastered over a picture or background.
Yet words that stand on their own, without the need of anything else.
Rather than having a running discussion about them, I'd like to see some of those.
Without the usual banter of what it means to you and/or others. Simply take it as a little pearl worth looking at.
There is much to be said by listening, rather than commenting.
Don't get me wrong, this is the place for comments, this forum. Running conversations. Cool.
But rather than pick the following apart, and losing sight of those pearls, lets just post them and let them be.
If you don't like them and want to respond, just let it be.
If you like them and want to respond, just let it be.
Don't use one as a response to one posted, let them stand on their own, just as your's should.
Think of it as respect to a couple lines or so, of wisdom.
Something meaningful, regardless of whether it's silly or serious.
Either way, just absorb it, or don't.
I wonder just how much we have to say without having to respond to it.
I know this goes against the idea of topics, but there are certainly plenty of topics that are discussed.
This just isn't one of them.
Nothing directed at someone, just words you might live by, find worthy of remembering.
The realizations that made you pause, look off into the distance, not focusing on what you see.
Simply those words that you might say and let drift off into the wind.
Say it and walk away, read it and walk away. What it means to you may be different to what it means to another.
We've all got our favorites, maybe a lot of them. Maybe some will find a new one to keep.
Which is just the thing. Those little words that mean so much that we keep.
I wonder how we choose such words as the people we are. Explanations not needed.
Care to share any of them, or to read them, without judgmental comments?
Sometimes the only thing that people see is what you did.
When if fact, they should be looking at why you did it.
