Straight(ish) or curly?

(Also, just hit the one-year mark on HRT two days ago.)

I think both look great. But I prefer the straight one :)

I sent an email to a GP in my town (without my name attached) as I wanted to see if he was willing to work with people who are transgender or looking at transitioning. They are all very conservative here so I wanted to test the waters, so to speak. His reply was three words:

"I do not."

I felt really upset and now a bit depressed. I cried my eyes out for a long while, but after I thought about it and decided to hell with him. I will keep searching and go to another town if I have to for a consultation.

After a while I figured I should keep up my spirits so I spent an hour and half on my eyes and skin etc practising how to do it.  How do you all do it I will never know :'(

It made me feel good even if my body is still big lol and manly, which is why I cut the bottom half of my body out of the image, because I feel embarrassed by my size. (currently 98kg and 5kg drop in two weeks, 20kg to go before I am ready to start HRT.)

I just had to get the let down of my chest, so ignore me being a sooky lala and posting about it!! But it was therapeutic to do it  :embarrassed:

I think you look really good. If you get some laser on your beard then I think you'll be fine. Your face has a really nice shape and you have pretty eyes :)

Ok here's one that we took in a park the other day on the way back to the car after a nice meal out.

I like how nicely dark it is, but my I do look a frump. At 45 that might not be such a bad thing :)

Congrats on your 1 year!

And I'd say curly, but I'd be interested what straight could look like when it's longer...

Looking great! :)

Yes my thoughts exactly. I think both look fine but wearing your bangs forward gets rid of the male hairline, so the pic with the curly hair looks a lot more feminine.

And happy 1 year Carrie :)

Thank you FalseP.  What did she teach? :)

This was actually taken the day after my first estradiol injection, and I was feeling quite pleased with myself :D

Ancient Greek :/ lol
btw its a really nice feeling to know that with hormones you get to be closer to a female than a male, that alone is a reason to go out more

Kali Orexi.
I think that means relax.

I went on a cruise (on a ship that's now a school at sea, I see it advertised some places in my university :D) with a now defunct Greek cruise line about 11 years ago, and that was a word in the brochure. I still have it, at home in Florida though. I very much enjoyed looking at the deck plans.

But other than that, it's all Greek to me! :D
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Yeah objectively greek is a very complex language but beautiful too , I really like it...
Somewhere I ve read that greeks and japanese write the most poems in the world?
no wonder I guess...

just a random clarification that doesnt even matter,,, there is a huge difference between ancient and modern greek...I think in usa they teach ancient greek in some universities but still call them greek...so people get confused...

Pre-HRT????! You actually look like Ellen page :)

oh hai!

Hi Adrilynn,

If you have an understanding and reliable genetic female friend who you can trust, I'd ask if you can try some of her clothes out to see what you like, what looks good and how you feel. Take small steps, see how everything feels first.

Otherwise you do look every feminine (and young) which is so in your favor should you decide to transition at some point in the future. Best wishes.
