As an FYI one 45-minute session to laser facial and neck hair runs about $300 in St. Louis as well--and that's at several different locations in the area...

I drive out to Queens NY from NJ (about a 45-50 min drive in traffic and $28 in tolls (GWB and RFK/Triboro bridge)), but I only pay $75 for face and neck and its done by someone that teaches at a school (who is also Transgender MtF) for electrolysis and laser. You can even go cheaper if your willing to let student work on you, but I would not recommend that for the face or neck (and neither does the teacher.)

My dermatologist in NJ would charge $325 for the same thing.

Laser then galvanic seemed to work well for me.  My challenge will be removal of hair from the ears and nose.  Waxing is bearable but I am not sure that I will be able to deal with galvanic on the ears and nose.  Has anyone tried this and survived and wishes to share their story?
