Any hope? My mom is 5'4 & my dad is 6'0. Her side is tall/short & his side is tall/short

T doesn't work any miracles. There are some doctors who actually think T might prevent more growth. NOt sure if this is true. But you are have a short sized family, so genetics are more important than T will ever be. There are normal sized people prescribed growth hormones. It's possible with a consent from the family (there are risks) and a very sympathetic doctor. It's still possible for you to grow a bit more.

Being a short guy might be a little of a pain, I am 5'1" so I know! But it's not the end of the earth as we know it. Actually I think I maybe care more than anybody else. Nobody really gives me a side long glance. I am read as male about 95% of the time but I don't think the 5% is due to my size and I haven't been on T a year yet.

Im young and Ive been on T for...8 months now? Yeah. And while this doesn't necessarily mean anything for anyone else I have grown about 2 and a half inches. And this isn't me measuring myself my doctor did measure me. So I think it might help for some people, it might prevent it in some people, could do nothing. It seems to just be some genetic thing that isn't 100% predictable. I'd assume people from taller families would probably have a better risk but I don't know. Just my own experience

It is actually the suppression of estrogen that it is needed to prevent the closure of the epiphyseal plate. T does indeed promotes bone growth. In addition, depending on your age and hormonal status treatment with GH can result in increased height.

If you're still growing in height then growth hormone could help you grow taller, it's a very unpredictable hormone though. Often times it has no affect. T will begin the process of ending growth of your bones (at least regarding length).
