Nocturnal erections etc etc

I was just wondering if anybody still occasionally notices nocturnal erections after being on HRT?

The first 6-8 months of HRT it was like that area became more-or-less deactivated (which is the goal, naturally).

One time, however, I decided to test if it was still "functioning" out of curiousity - and it's like from that moment onwards - I cursed myself. It's as if once I realised it was still possible, I developed OCD-like tendencies to point that even just thinking about it would make that area feel more *active*.

My blood tests always come out really good. Though I need to try taking a blood test in the morning prior to taking any medication (that day), as usually I have them done later in the day. Is it even possible that your bloodtest results could average 900-1200 pmol/L Estrogen, almost zero Free Testosterone etc at 5pm... AND radically flip to high T / low E in the morning?? I know Testosterone is naturally higher in the morning, but surely it couldn't make that much of a difference?? Could it??

What concerns me is I'm sure I can see differences in my skin, sweating smell, less fat in face etc... when that area feels "more active", I don't know how else to explain it really. It just seems like something is off, but it's never reflected in my blood results.

I had thought maybe it was something to do with poor nutrient absorption. Though, my diet at the moment is really, really good! So I don't know!

That thing between your ears is the biggest erogenous zone in the body.

It can still work down there if you put your mind to it, weather you like it or not.

Hmmmm yea, I often fear that could be the case. :(
Thanks for the reply :)!

As was mentioned, the brain is the largest sex organ in the body - after the skin, actually.

The idea that hormones will kill all sexual function is a furphy. Seriously, it's BS.

Lack of testosterone and increased estrogen will not kill your sex drive, or your ability to function. Your mind will.

EDIT: Those of you planning on SRS might want to think about the fact that post-op women who were active pre-op, are more likely to be orgasmic post-op.

Without a brain, would skin still feel?

;)

I am only picking nits for fun, TPTR. I suspect you know that.

I'll also add that the last time my T was checked, it was too low.. So low it was within the labs margin of error. I'm functional.

Erections and T levels are not as connected as people think.

I had the problem in December. I ended up getting my E bumped up, which I was of course TOTALLY ok with. Junk still works but it's back to more or less leaving me alone. And my boobs hurt so, win win.

"Waking up with wood" is a different take on the old, "Waking up on the wrong side of the bed."
