Loving the before and after pictures I have seen here.

Wow... I have been coming back to this thread a few times.... But then I told my self, why not, lets do this xD I'm still pre everything but I thought I would do before and after coming out of the closet to myself and closest friends and family.

Before

After coming out to myself and my sister

Dalex, you look exactly like your old avatar (the drawn one), lol. Saw your post in the "Do I Pass?" thread and have to say I would never mistake you for a girl. Nice to see another artist around here too. :)

I was 19 in the "before" picture and turned 23 a few months ago.

Thanks Declan, means a lot to hear that since I have always been told that I'm such a "pretty girl"

And now I have to ask out of just pure curiosity, just turned 23 a few months ago? You born 1990?

And last but not least, I´m digging the facial hair you got going Declan. Can't wait to start T and get my own.

Same here, it's very frustrating. Hang in there. When are you starting testosterone? I had no idea you weren't on it yet; I would've guessed you were 3-5 months in, to be honest. You have a great foundation to build on.

Yup, November 1990. Thanks, I have very hairy people (of both genders, lol) on both sides of my family, so I lucked out. My legs look like a fur coat.

I'm not sure when I'll be starting T, first I need to quit smoking and my therapist has me by the leash at the moment to take it slow but I'm hoping soon. And really? You would have guessed 3-5 months on T? Now I think I will need to talk myself out of high expectations for when I do start T xD

I'm early September, 1990 myself :P Though I still get asked if I'm 16.... >.>

Being on testosterone has significantly reduced my stress levels, so if you smoke to relieve stress, that's something to consider. I'm no doctor, though. Good luck quitting! Keep your expectations high; excitement is part of the fun, IMO. :)

I would've guessed 17-18, which is okay - I looked younger than I really was pre-testosterone as well. It ages you a bit, fortunately.

I do smoke to relieve stress, yes. I think I will have to make that point. Thanks :) As for the high expectations, I'm just afraid I put the bar too high and become disappointed :P But I do hope I'll get as good results as you and many of the other guys here.

I would have guessed you were somewhere around 20 myself. :)

These photos are fascinating...thanks for sharing everyone!

I've been gone from this site for several months. Working, mostly. Then a little top surgery in January (!). Feeling worlds better from just over a year ago when I came out to everyone and began my transition.

I came back because I'm working through some tricky relationship stuff, and it's got me pretty down. But anywho, figured I might as well reintroduce myself by posting my own before/afters.

Dude, you changed so much just by switching to guy mode, I also thought you already started T. Good job!

Man, you look great and happy :) Even on your before pics you had a masculine face I think.

I'm still pre everything at the moment but I've changed a lot in the past few years. I've been trying to look more masculine after I first came out to myself as trans early this past summer.

Here's my embarrassing before picture from a few summers ago when I was in denial of my true self. I look happy but inside I wasn't.

And here's a recent picture of me from this weekend.

I feel a lot more comfortable in my body since the before pic but I still have bad dysphoria. I'm hoping I can see a gender therapist soon to get on track for a T letter.

You look awesome and happier in your after pic. I sense a hint of a smile in there and I'm jealous of the facial hair.

You definitely look way more comfortable in your after pic. Man I wish I had your jawline you have great foundations for T. Good luck with your therapist and getting on T.

And now for something completely ridiculous...I was trying to compare photos/differences and wasn't sure how much was just hair, so I photoshopped my pre-t hair onto the recent pic:

I'm still not sure what the difference is except that now I would look much stupider with that hair. :P

1st photo is my last pre-t pic and 2nd is ~3 years later

Neck is fatter and less pointy jaw. you could totally pull of that hair as a guy.

Always wanted to post in this thread, but not many "before" pictures exist of me. Just realized my mom still has some prom pictures on her Facebook... groooss... I think I've come a ways.

2010 prom picture:

Just taken, 16 months on T and five days after top surgery:

I actually have a lot of facial hair on my chin and sideburn areas, but it's still light so it's difficult to photograph.

I can't recall the last photo update I did on here - I think it was lost in the subscribers-only FTM section, which I no longer have access to, so...

The photo on the left was back in 2010, pre-everything.  The one on the right was about 4 months ago - and I'm 2 years on T, 4 weeks post-top-surgery:
