Polo

Hey all, it's nice to meet you.  I've actually been reading Susan's Place for a while now, but with all of the how-to's and other links, I only just discovered the forum part a couple days ago (oops)

I'm a trans guy that actually had the notion given to him almost on a silver platter.  When I moved to Texas to begin a grad school program, I dressed and presented as a guy, and yet it hadn't occurred to me that I would want to change my gender until I met my classmates.  They immediately started calling me "he" even though some of them had gotten a good look at my not-very-masculine old driver's license.

Once I wrapped my head around what they had done, it felt incredible, still does actually...like I hadn't realized how uncomfortable I had been until I realized how comfortable I was becoming.

I'm about 6 months into this journey, pre-everything though lucky enough to have a masculine enough face, body size, name, and voice to be viewed correctly.  I'm hoping to find a few like-minded individuals here (or tons judging by the size of this forum lol), as a grad school schedule doesn't seem to offer much in the way of opportunities to find other people going through a similar experience.

I hope that wasn't too long winded :) I'm glad I found this place.

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)  Jamie, I'm originally from NorCal and have family and some good friends down south... San Diego is one of my favorite cities. I'm interested to see how transitioning legally (partially) will go in Texas.

We have quite a few Texans on the site.

Not sure where you are, but Nikko, probably our most active Texan, is in the DFW area.
