As a medic I have to ask, do you live where there are Brown Recluse spider's?
I ask because the bite of a Brown Recluse is not felt due to an anesthetic in the venom. The bite then appears as a zit with a small white center and red edge. After it breaks or is popped it starts to spread with a red discoloration. It can then develop an infection and possibly lead to MRSA. Not saying what you have is a bite, but it is the first thing to come to my mind.
