I thought I would give some input for pictures posted of recent, remember it's just MY opinion:

Sakushi:  in your three pictures, I like the first one the best.  It paints you as a tomboy, and I'm not sure if you were aiming for that if that's just where you are in your transition.  The hair looks like it's thinning on top.  HRT can stop the rate of hair loss greatly, and I think that if all other issues in feminization were resolved, you would make an excellent candidate for scalp reduction surgery.   Your second picture is androgynous, at best, at worst you look somewhat female in the face, and the rest of you looks like a very young male.  I know that's not what you intended, but your clothes in that picture aren't very feminine.  In the third picture, meh.  Delete it.  Seriously.  Please don't take this the wrong way, but my first reaction when seeing that picture was "does she live in Scotland?".  That skirt is WAY too shot short for you, and right now your legs are too muscular looking (or not toned enough?) for it.  Your hair is pulled back in that picture to reveal a male pattern hairline.  The shoes look like men's dress shoes.  Again, I mean no harm in writing this, I just think we all need a little input, but I also realize that most of us do not have unlimited funding to buy girly things, and I also realize that the culture where you live may not at all be like that of the culture I live in.  I believe that we should spend most of our energy pushing our strengths, or building around them, and giving the finger to our weaknesses.  If you build off that first picture, you're going to be one very happy girl.

Allyson:  STOP HIDING behind thick clothes.  Emerge!  (no, I'm not a Gentoo Linux fan, lol) I don't like those glasses, but I'm not sure why.  I've always felt that "nerdy" glasses are too in-your-face, and I'm not sure many would equate intelligence with physical beauty.  I'd work on shaping those eyebrows, and it appears you have a five o'clock shadow going in those pictures.  Maybe your foundation was too dark (it has a red or orange hue to it), maybe it's because of the hair.  I feel like once the fat in your face has been redistributed some more (if you're on HRT) or that you lose some, it will dramatically improve things.  Despite my thinking that you're shy, I still like your hair and your scarf in the first picture.

Barbie: you have legs to die for, but I'm concerned about the way you're standing in the second picture.  Do you have problems walking? It appears there is too much room in those boots.  Even your first picture shows your ankles bowing out.  Just concerned, that's all.  I imagine you do walk very gracefully, with that red coat appearing to float in mid-air at night.   ;D
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

FilaFord, try this.  Make a heart with your fingers.  Now, place your thumbs over your chin, and the pointer fingers over your eyebrows.  The area in between gives a better idea of what HRT (and FFS for the chin and brow bossing) will be able to do for you.  There is a beautiful woman under there!

New pics today - down 15 lbs from the last time I posted, only 35 more to go :D

Trying to find a "sexy angle" but failing:

My eyebrows have practically no arch, or an inverted arch.  I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do with them, but my doc said that HRT should help make them a little more manageable... hopefully!  Any suggestions?

Here is the "be brutally honest" picture.  Please tell me what you think HRT will help with.  I think I am going to shell out some money for Virtual FFS as I think I am going to need a few things done before I will be happy with my look.  And I'm still a make-up novice so I know I have a lot of work to do in that department as well!

(I know I'm not passable at this point, so you don't have to go easy on me at all)
Hi, you look great by the way!
Concerning your eyebrows I think the hairs are a little too long and it makes them look a bit more "bushy".
I think HRT will smooth out your chin, cheeks, and all the other usual stuff that comes with it. Good luck! :)

Ugh, photoshop just sh!t the bed, so let's see if this explanation makes sense.  See the top of your eyebrows, where the hair is thinner?  Pluck that out.  There's a natural line- in your case, actually, a bit of a trapezoid- that outlines where you should pluck in towards.  I see what you're saying about the inverse arch.  I would just go straight across the top to that farthest point on the left and pluck the loose hairs above that line.  Then the same on the lower left, where you have that arch above your eye.

And plucking hair from the bottom is fairly feminizing- women's eyebrows have the tendency (or at least have the illusion) of being higher from the eyeball than a man's.  Then just take care of the couple rogue hairs that are pointing towards the middle of your face, and I think your eyes will be complemented very nicely!

And for reference, this diagram is pretty good for determining an ideal length for your eyebrows:

Hopefully some of this helps!

As somebody who DOES live in Scotland, I find it difficult to know what you are getting at here xD

Does living in Scotland instantly have negative connotations?

Or do we all just dress terribly :P

No, obviously, we don't all dress terribly.  We're all a work in progress.  :P

Look at the three pictures I wrote about.  One of them is not like the others.  It was meant as constructive criticism, and I don't feel the need to explain myself any further.

These sorts of threads are never going to suit everyone.   ;)

Hi, by the things I can see in your picture you pass!
If you want to get any advice about your whole face it's best if we get to see more of you. :)

Hey girls :) Ok, so I need some brutal honesty. I'm pre-everything and this is the first time I've tried dressing up like a girl, so I'm trying to get my makeup technique right at the moment and decide what kind of work I'm gonna need done. So any tips would be super appreciated :) Thanks! :)

also, I know te wigs a little messed up, it's a tad small and I haven't had it styled or anything yet.

Sectastic, you had me fooled.  I was sitting here thinking "okay....so, just play with that hair and rub it in to those who aren't as fortunate to have a full head of hair!...".  You have an awesome wig, obviously.   ;)  My only concern is that the hair appears to ride too high up on your head, seems like the hairline should be lower.

Other than that, it's all systems go for you.   8)

Oh, and pick up your clothes!!!

Hello ^^

Yes, it is me again! Sorry, I feel I am always coming here to ask for opinions...but I feel so unsecure about my future and this is killing me!  :-\

(I want very sincere opinions. Don't worry about hurting me, because I will not take critics to the personal side)

The thing is: I don't have money for a FFS right now and I don't think I will have for the next few years, so I will have to pass with what I have when the time comes. I am slowly preparing myself, training my voice and so on, and I really would like to try going out as a woman on a few months from now.  ;)

But...here they come ("boy mode", no make-up or anything!):

I know one of my biggest problems is my terrible nose. When I was a kid I fell on the ground and broke it... that's why it is right turned (if I didn't break it, it would still be awful). As I can't afford a rhinoplasty, I really want to know if I can get passable with it the way it is. I don't mean beautiful, just passable...

And my second hugest flaw is my hairline and the way it gives me a huge brow. I can't make my hair look good and it have a will of its own. Besides that my hairline receded a few years back and gave me a typical male pattern hairline. It is slowly returning now that I am on HRT...but the problem is: my hair is getting longer, but the hair on the places I lost hair is still too short and I can't do anything with it. Is there any way I can style it into a more feminine way? Or is a wig my only hope?

And another problem, but not the last one I guess...is my brow bossing. Again, I can't do anything about it...I will have to try passing the way it is...is it too bad?

I felt really good when I added a virtual wig and some make-up (as in my profile pic) and I got a nice result...but I don't know if it is possible for me to achieve something like that in real life. (I don't have a wig, but I am considering buying one)

Do I have any hope of passing?

Thank you everyone!  :-*

Hi Natalia ,

You really should try and relax , it is nothing to worry about , you look great . I mean even in 'boy mode' you show femininity and that means that you are totally passable . Just look at your profile pic , still you with a big smile like you should always have , why would you be worry ? You are beautiful , not only passable . Your hair will grow and soon you will be able to do more hairstyles with it .
I hope at  FFS  too , to make me more feminine and maybe more beautiful , but , we should live as who we really are , not wait for years until coming out in public .
I think at FFS as my 'ace in the sleeve' , whenever I hate what I see in the mirror I think and hope that FFS will change it in better .

So relax , it will be great  , I envy you for going out as a real you , i hope i will do it soon too ;)
