:icon_drunk:

Right on!

Although, I'm partial to the older stuff like the 7"'s, "Morbid Florist" & "Everyone Should Be Killed".

I had a chance to see them back in 06, but I didn't go. I even sent Seth a message on Myspace, telling him I'd be there, and he replied!

Alas, my opinion of Seth Putnam plummeted, when I learned that he voted for David Duke.

Still, "Ha Ha, Your Wife Left You," is a classic.

Jaime dearest.  It's the estrogen.  It thins the skin.  :o

Well, there were a LOT of things that Seth said for shock effect. Honestly, even if he did vote for David Duke, considering what he did at shows, that doesn't mean a lot. I would be more concerned about chairs being whipped in my direction. I was actually going to book AC in my stupid town but it was after AC broke up again in 2003. I didn't know it at the time. I didn't have the net. I just had my old booklet from the "Corporate Death" compilation that had their P.O. Box address inside. I had two shows booked: One at a country bar, they were going to do an unplugged set and another at a blues bar down the road for an electric set. I lied to the bar owners as far as the band name and genre classifications were concerned. It actually worked and I was psyched to see what mayhem I may have caused by doing this. But Seth wrote me back and said they broke up again. I was going to see them on the last tour that they did but my plans fell through at the last minute. Then Seth died a few months later.

It may sound weird, but the day he died, I cried my eyes out. I utterly adored AC (and I still do) and I was crushed that I was never going to have the chance to see them live. Sure, I have a lot of videos (including ultra-rare video of the set that is featured on the A-side of the 'Breaking The Law' 7"), but it's not the same as actually seeing them live. Oh well, that's the way it goes.

For about 29 years I would say I am not sensitive at all... but lately it seems I am way too sensitive.  I think it's just experiencing feelings for the first time.

I was pretty cold-hearted and even accused of being "soul-less" when I was a young man... :-\

OMG HOW DARE YOU. I was on estrogen at one period in my life and no one is about to tell me I had a thin skin!!! I was tough and manly and only shed manly tears made out of steel. I can't believe you'd even say that I mean omg how offensive why don't you just log out of Susan's forever now kthxbye  :police:

Probably someone who saw the text to the left on your profile.
Wasn't me though. I didn't vote yet.

Yeah, I think we are sometimes too sensitive for our good. When I first came here back in the dark ages, it was a lot easier to craft a post. Everyone knew what you meant and nobody derailed a thread because you didn't use their preferred term for something. Nowadays I've got to write out stuff like 'assigned female at birth' just so no one will freak out if I say 'born female' or something. People get really particular about labels and the definitions of labels and body parts and everything. It's difficult to say anything without offending someone even by using the wrong word.

What? I am kind of annoying...

And yeah, years ago, we didn't have to tiptoe quite so much and you didn't have to preface an opinion with disclaimers and such like it seems you have to do now. I just think we need to keep our eyes on the big picture more so than the individual pixels.

I grew up watching that, family affair, brady bunch, and my three sons.

And I adjusted the text to reflect the addition of a pic...

I always thought it was interesting to see someone like Archie Bunker(typical bigot) confronted with various things that were major issues then.

I said I don't care either way, haha. I think some people are too sensitive over certain things, BUT I think if something offends you, even something most people think is trivial, it should be seen as valid and it should be respected. So maybe we are, maybe we're not, but it should all be handled the same way.

Sometimes I think some people are too sensitive, other times I think some people are too insensitive

*Sigh*

Either way it tends to equate to people being overly critical of each other

I often wish that more people would remember that this is a support site and leave the criticizing and one up over you stuff behind and not bring it here

Just some of my thoughts

Definitely. I am. But probably not in the way the thread is talking about.
